I love how Ahsoka uses the same move to cut through the ground that she used in the last episode of Clone Wars to cut through the flight deck on the Venator. Rosario Dawson also holds her lightsabers the same way when she uses the Force, with Spider-Man hands. They're keeping a consistent style and attention to detail. Plus the Rebels mural is spot on. Baylon and Shin's sabers are definitely not Sith red, because there's another one of that color in the trailers, and they aren't the same color as the Inquisitor's. They're definitely orange, whatever that means.

I would also say if you pay attention to the way that she moved in Clone Wars then to Rebels than Mandalorian and finally here, I noticed a lot of Anakin in her movements. Not overly surprising given who her master was but that just shows the attention to detail of the production staff as well as Rosario herself because she is choosing to move like Hayden

Fun fact, he played Gar Saxon in Rebels ( much like Clancy Brown who aside from being one of the goons that was in the Mandalorian has also been Ryder Azadi, Savage Oppress and The Inquisitor that Ahsoka Mercs in Tales of the Jedi)

Their lightsabers *aren't* red. They're Orange. Look at the inquisitor's saber later on in the trailer. It's a far deeper shade of crimson.

Fun Fact: Did you know that at the Epilogue of Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Finale, Ahsoka is wearing a White Robe Clothing? That look of Ahsoka was meant to represent Ahsoka as like a Gandolf the White character of Star Wars. 14:06 Yeah! You're right! Kanan did train Sabine in Rebels. That's correct! But what Ahsoka is implying here is that, I'm assuming that some time during Star Wars Episode 4,5 and 6, Ahsoka trained Sabine in Lothal to be a Jedi and then as she mentioned Ahsoka left Sabine. So... Yeah! Sabine's Jedi training with Ahsoka happened after Ezra's Scrificed on Lothal. Also keep in mind! This takes place during *The Mandalorian* Era which is set 5 Years after Return of the Jedi. Anything could have happen during that 5 Years Time gap. 🙂😀

@@ajelsanchez9151 Well... They didn't actually explain it if she was Foorce sensitive but she was able to wield the Darksaber in Rebels. Plus Kanan taught her how to connect with the Darksaber. Not to mention the Darksaber was made by a Madalorian Jedi.

@@01Danni10 yes I remember that scene very well and Sabine struggle to wield the darksaber at first until she gets to hang of it somehow but if Ahsoka trains Sabine somewhere between the series off screen that would makes sense but I never knew she has proficiency in wielding the lightsaber at all. The darksaber is a different story though but damn those two force fielders might be possible Gray in between sith and Jedi. Force wielders serving neither the Jedi or sith or I could be wrong entirely on this(Kotor reference).

My guess is that they are former Jedi that are corrupting their green or yellow blades, making them turn orange.

Hey Snaxan, so happy to hear you've finished Star Wars: Rebels! Are you planning to do reactions to the Ahsoka series? So Morgan Elsbeth/The Magistrate whom Ahsoka fought against in The Mandalorian S2 was secretly working from Thrawn at the time, thats why Ahsoka was like "Where is your master, where is Grand Admiral Thrawn?" Speaking of Thrawn, heres a really awesome fact/easter egg: in the early 1990s there were a set of Star Wars books that took place after Return of the Jedi that not only had Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, and so forth, facing off against, the first book being titled "Heir to the Empire", which is what Ahsoka literally said out loud about Thrawn in the trailers. Those books are a really great read and although they are not necessary but I recommend you should check them out sometime whenever you can 👍

I personally done with Star wars I am just hooked with mandalorian and andor because it is pretty good not just as a Star wars story but as a story it is very good what John favro (iron man director aka Tony assistant I forgot it's name LoL) but really if they do like dark stuff like Zack Snyder red moon or rebellion (I forgot the name again) the recent series it was originally gonna take place on Star wars universe but they rejected it so here we are & also I am disappointed with OBI WAN KINOBI so hopefully it doesn't turn out like that.

Here to add my voice to the previous reactions about the Zahn books. Heir to the Empire and the two sequels are pretty much essential reading for Thrawn's story and will even offer new insights to his appearances in Rebels.

There are a lot of theories who the Orange Saber wielders are. I do think they are bad (Fallen Jedi) but not as bad as say Vader is. I would bet the blonde girl ends up turning to the good side eventually. But of course I have no idea lol

Are you sure they're not the remnants of the sith well they're not much as they are as the Jedi are which explains the orange lightsabers are. I didn't realize Ray Stevenson voices Gar Saxon one of the loyal officials of the empire in madalore. I probably forgot or couldn't recognize him immediately but it's interesting to see what the ahsoka direction could lead into in the upcoming star wars projects like Skeleton Crew or Acolyte (prequel to the prequel trilogy) but I'm stoked for the series in August.

Red light sabers don't always equal Sith lord, its more than likely the villains in this are dark Jedi, makes more sense that is the case

I have heard two different stories of the red lightsaber color. The Sith have variable intensities of "red" in their sabers.. its either based off their "belief" in the darkside. So the deeper the red the stronger the force alignment in the darkside. Or, the one that is more canon is when a Sith obtains a kyper crystal from a jedi's saber, they go through a type of ritual(bleeding) with the crystal and pour all their hate, greed, anger, lust for power into the crystal which would turn the crystal a crimson red.

If you havn't already I strongly recommend watching The Mandalorian before Ahsoka comes out. It sets some of this up and it dives deep into the mandalorian lore which I think will be very important to Sabines story. The storyline of Mandalore including Bo Katan, Vizsla, the Night Owls etc is continued there. Kinda Rebels 4.5. 😊

Well they did meet in the past already which you probably already know but that said, I feel like her story never really got the closure it deserved. She is such a good character and has been through so much. I guess it depends on how much they want to use from the extended universe stuff but my guess is that she won't be in this show, not the first season anyway. But that would be awesome if they did meet! Don't want to give to much away to those who haven't seen, but the last time they were together were some very cool moments!

You _need_ to read Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy to get a good sense of the character and how the remnants of the Empire fared following the Battle of Endor. It isn't considered canon by Disney but the books reinvigorated the Star Wars franchise when interest was starting to die out, creating the Expanded Universe we older fans knew and loved (1991-2013)

Orange lightsabers are typically wielded by so-called "gray Jedi." It's supposed to represent a "delicate balance between light and dark."

What I don’t get is Sabine was never a Jedi, so since when did she come force sensitive?

We don't know if she is at this point(Shin even says you have no power which means she could be talking about sensitivity) The things that we know for certain is that this is somewhere around ten years or so after Return of the Jedi meaning that were something like 15 years or better since Rebels. We know that in the preamble to the Galactic Civil War Kanan was training Sabine how to use the darksaber. Triangle which presumably was passed on to Bo Katan given the how she was moving with the darksaber in Mandalorian season 3 which is roughly around the same time as when this takes place. From the dialogue in the trailer I think it might be safe to say that Ahsoka was continuing that training of Sabine. So it is presumable that she will be significantly more competent with a lightsaber then she was during the Mandalorian Civil War prior to the night of a thousand tears.
