Beth quickly became one of my all time favorite singers right after discovering her. Just fantastic and Joe just puts an extra killer touch.

Beth really has nothing but great songs....the one that truly gets me every time is "Am I the One" live at Paradiso, a song that she wrote when she was 16 that won her the semifinals at Star Search I believe in 1993....then you'll crave more so check out "I Don't Need No Doctor" from that same show, which she did 4 months sober and saved her career, thanks to her husband. Beth is such a lovely soul as well. She appreciates ALL of her fans and that's rare.

I really like how both give each other time to shine. Beth owns it, Joe in the back almost hiding, then he destroys that solo, and moves to the back for Beth to finish it off.

We all love Joe but does he have to be such a show off? Every performance is like another holy grail guitar that is worth a fortune, and he didn't pay a fortune for any of them, which just makes it worse. Albert Kings flying V, Black Guard Nocasters, Rare colors, rare features, played by legends, you name it, he has had it, and probably sold it for a profit, if he doesn't still have it.

Great Reaction!! These two have so much chemistry together. The emotion you feel when you hear Beth sing, is the same emotion Joe makes you feel with that guitar. He is definitely telling a story with that guitar. Beth has so much control over her voice and knows how to use it. She makes you believe every word she is singing.

I just love to see new people react to this song. It is the BEST cover of this song around today. Beth and Joe on their own are fantastic. You really should check out Beth Hart "Am I the One" live at Paradiso 2004. I see the person below me said 2013, but that was just when someone posted it. Songs to hear from live at paradiso "Am I the One", "Leave the Light On", "Mama", "Immortal", "I Don't Need No Doctor", "Get Your Shit Together", "Broken and Ugly", "LA Song" just to start. But start with "Am I the One" to see how much she can put into a performance, this is a performance like no other. She has a beautiful song called "Take it Easy on Me" live at Royal Albert Hall that is fantastic. Loved your reaction to this perfection in both Beth and Joe.

Watching your face light up to this was a joy Sarah. Not heard it for some months but knowing how good it is I was curious to what you’d make of Beth and Joe. You got it instantly and Im so glad you did. I struggle to put it into words too, the colour, the phrasing, the subtlety , the sheer beauty of the blues. The song rises and falls .... makes you think it cant get any better , but it does! - cant think of a better more soulful female vocal than Beth. Not heard vocals this good since Janis Joplin. I just recently subscribed to your channel after an Angelina Jordan reaction. Going through your reactions, I came across this one, and had to watch it. I stumbled across Beth and Joe about 3 years ago, and was an instant fan. This was the first video I watched, and it was quickly followed by "I'll Take Care Of You" kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIiWgKWCfc9jorM They both have separate careers, but they perform so well together. As I said, I became a big fan, and I now own 24 albums and 3 DVD's of them together and separate. You really should check out more of them.
