I had been on the lookout for a matte orangey peach blush and on a whim picked up Colormates Tawny Peach even though it has a bit of shimmer from my local Big Lots. It's definitely a winner for $1, the shimmer is undetectable on the skin, it just comes off as a gorgeous natural peachy flush. I was complimented on my makeup the first day I wore it and I wasn't wearing any other face makeup, I even had it on my eyelids with a bit of bronzer in the crease.

I wish I had discovered your very informative video before I purchased so many of these products. Oh the money I could have saved!!! In my mind, the next purchase will be the ultimate shade or formula or both, but seeing all the swatches side by side makes me realize how VERY similar each is to the other. Just a different brand with a different package, and a different price but products pretty much the same. I feel foolish to have not realized this sooner. Whether pink or mauve it's still my face mirror. I wish companies would sell miniatures or sample sizes.

I like the Clinique peach pop, I’ll have to grab that when I see it on sale. Although ginger pop is nice too, I might have to go with the darker shade for my skin tone.

The undertone of those two are really similar. I think if you’re medium or deeper, Ginger pop would probably work better. Fair to light would probably like the Peach Pop.

Just out of curiosity how do you sanitize them? I always thought the organizations did it for you when you donate them. Ive never donated makeup before because i usually just give it to friends and family. However if i ever had makeup that neither of my friends and family wanted id definitely donate. Ill have to check out the clinique blushes they look nice.

I have a bottle of 100% alcohol that I have in a travel mister to spray over products to sanitize them. I’m sure that Project Beauty Share also has a sanitation process they go through too. But I try and pass them things as cleanly as I can. Foundations/other products with a pump are just naturally sanitized. Any product with a wand or squeeze tube unfortunately can’t be sanitized and so I either see if a close friend/family wants them or I have to dispose of them.

I just love that group and that they recognize that barely used makeup like blushes can be sanitized so quickly and given to a women who wouldn’t have access to them otherwise. Their concept needs to spread to more cities for sure!!
