5 months ago, the person I loved left me. I'm at the stage where I had come to accept that our relationship has ended. But every now and then I would still have the "what if" thoughts, see someone that looks like him, or I would find myself wondering if my future self would still love him or not. This song perfectly encapsulated how I feel. The reminiscent melody, the lyrics, and the soft, mellow voice spoke to my heart. How is this song not even popular yet???its the perfect song to sit down and listen to and cry to with memories of someone you sadly lost. It's beautifully composed and has the singing of a poor soul that shines through the darkness. It's painful but the life is still there. Hi, Sarah! I've been listening to your songs (summer is for falling in love, about time, and cheeze). I gotta admit that NewJeans' Hanni brought me to this tune. I just wanted to say thanks. Your song reminds me to the six years in my life when my boyfriend and I drifted apart. Once in a moon, there were days when everything reminded me of him. such a cleverly written chorus, I usually just follow the melody/flow and dont mind the lyrics, but this chorus was(to me) very much like, "aha! so one can do this also" and also, it aptly goes with the overall theme of the song.
