I've read many of the posts on here about sadness and loss and I can honestly relate to them.This song is about a struggle of depression,of being on the road doing concert tours for many months at a time. And finding comfort the only way that was thought possible,"In the arms of the angles". If you haven't been there, in that situation it's hard to comprehend! The struggle is enormous! God bless you all with your struggle with loss,depression,and finding comfort any way that you can! 🙏

I remember the first time hearing this. My Aunt Enid had passed away a couple of years prior, and once I heard it on the radio, I thought of her. I wasn't crying. I was openly sobbing. This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

my bestie of 20 yrs ! loved this song ! she would play it on repeat for yrs! she was a sad torchered soul! unfortunately at age42 she committed suicide 😔 she jumped into traffic right in front of me . its been 13 yrs and I miss her everyday,but I know she needed to go ,and find the comfort she never received iin this world! rip Cheryl Ann your in the arms of the angels now,may you find some comfort there!!!
