I absolutely LOVE those ornaments! You make everything look so easy, but I know I'd never be able to figure that machine out, not in a million years. I'd decorate a whole tree with those if I could. They are so, SO pretty! 💜🎄⭐️

Awesome video, I did not realize you can set your working area with the S1. Maybe I should spend a bit more time reading the manual :) But your ornaments look good. I think I will try something similar. I like the use of the 3M adhesive it gives a more consistent look than glues which might overrun or look spotty on the back.

Thank you so much. Yes, the 3M is a little more costly than the glue assembly, but the time it saves and the results are worth it (to me). And oh my goodness - there is SO much to learn with these machines, isn't there!??!

Awesome video! You are so funny and energetic! Could you get a sheet of acrylic and cut your shapes out instead of premade? Cheaper? I have the P2 on its way I can’t wait to get going.

Absolutely! The P2 (a great machine) is a CO2, so you can cut it all and assemble it the same way. Congrats on getting the p2. Love the machine.

No, this is a diode laser and to cut clear acrylic, you’d need a CO2 laser like the P2.

What tools did you use to pin down the materials?

I have magnetic pins for my honeycombs (both xTool lasers came with them but you can buy them on their website). There are some 3D printed ones on Etsy, as well.

What version of xcs are you using? I have 2.0 on my iPad and on a windows laptop. The apps on my gear don't look like each other and neither app looks like yours. My frustration in trying to learn is doubled because I go from ipad to laptop and can't find the option I just used. Lol

Oh that has to be frustrating!! I’m using the same program but a previous version. The good news is that the functions are all the same, they just moved to the right in V 2.0. :)
