The reason it's called "Spring" tournament is because it used to be held, iirc, in March - but that is almost graduation season, making it very difficult for third-years to participate, so they moved it up to January, but the name stuck. It's been a few years since I watched this OVA, and now, having watched quite a few documentaries/TV programs in Japanese, I can appreciate just how similar it is to their actual TV features. Only the big subtitles appearing every so often are missing (and they make subbing those programs very difficult x) SO excited for S4!!

I mean, Nekoma was supposed to be the main team, and later share protagonism with Karasuno, only to be just rivals in the end I see you didn't comment on the fact that Oikawa was being a great captain, player and even loser😂 12:48 To be fair many fans of Haikyuu kind of wanted Seijoh to win, and no, not just because of Oikawa 19:52 Funny thing is that Hinata's va is actually fluent in english since he was born in the States. Also fun fact both him and Kageyama's va said they started to use onomatopeya waaaay more after haikyuu
