The KVD balm foundation does take only a tiny bit, and I find the best way to apply it is with your hands to spread it out and just tap out with a brush, and to use a kind of slippy primer, or just after skincare while you’re skin has a bit more slip

From what I've seen, the people that love the good apple foundation use a very light thin application of it and the people that dislike it apply it more heavily. I definitely wouldn't do it with a full coverage brush to make sure you don't apply too much of it. I think it just takes figuring out the application for you before judging.

I love good apple balm but it takes the tiniest amount I've learned. And one of the sample packs last several uses. 😂 I usually lightly blend in with my fingers. Sometimes a light airy foundation brush.

Whenever you were applying the balm I was like noooooo haha I wear this almost daily and you literally need the tiniest amount. When you apple too much it looks too cakey. But definitely gets glowy throughout the day. You should give it another try!!

Small tip: next time you have a sample before use put it in the freezer then open it and put it in a jar and wait to melt

Finally caught up on all your everyday makeup drawer videos, and I love what you picked out this month, especially with cheek products. I've also been loving red and peach/coral blush as of late. I'll either use my Quo Velvet Kiss Liquid Lipstick in Peach Tea or my Covergirl 24HR Matte Lipstick in Soloist. Now that I'm typing this out, I should try mixing them together...

For foundations that I think are too full-coverage or look too cakey, I check whether they are silicone or water based and mix with a silicone/water based primer in a 50/50 ratio. For example, the Tarte Base Tape foundation looks horrific on me, but I want to use it up, and so I mix it with the silicone-based W-Lab Primer. And the KVD Lock-it foundation has a similar problem, but it looks ok mixed with Glossier FutureDew or the Elf Halo Glow.

Hey Sarah, for some reason past couple of videos are not moving ahead of the 720p quality. I'm not sure if this is happening only at my end or others are facing the same issue but would like you to look into it, to again have the quality of 1080p.

Which formula of the KVD foundation did you pick up? The balm version is directed more toward dry skin types, while the serum is for oily skin types. I do like both but, as an oily skin type, I prefer the serum over the balm. Also may need to stop into Sephora to pick up one of the UD liquid lipsticks before they're gone.
