My panning goal is to get back to my pre KZbin makeup collection. I only had one foundation, a few blushes, one highlight, one bronzer, three eyeshadow palette’s and like 5 lipsticks. Then I discovered beauty KZbin and my collection grew, but I was also trying everything and learning what my preferences are and learning how to apply makeup.

Oh my gosh…I’m not on KZbin, but I absolutely blame KZbin for my current makeup obsession. I’m almost 50 yo. Growing up, I had a small makeup bag with all drugstore makeup. Of course, I was young, but I only used foundation, concealer, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow quad, lipstick and mascara and I had 1 of each and would use it all the way up before repurchasing. Today, I’m really trying hard to declutter what I don’t use and only keep my faves.

I’m thankful for KZbin- I’ve definitely found my favorite products from recommendations. The Missha Perfect Cover, Purito Bb cream, Elf Halo Glow, and Canmake Creamy Touch liner have become holy grails.

I agree with lipsticks and palettes. Those are my 2 largest collections (about 8 each), but everything else I have none or at most 2 😅 like I have no highlighters or contour but a BB cream and 1 colourpop for foundation.

I was excited when you mentioned the Nabla highlighter. Nabla makes up about half of my cheeks products. The rest is from Sigma, Juvias Place and Auric.

I have too many concealers and foundations. That’s mostly due to it being hard to find a good shade match for my skin tone. My most minimal category is bronzer. Only have one cream and one powder.

As a redhead, I'd suggest the MILK Makeup KUSH Fibre Eyebrow Gel in "Dub"...best natural colour for me, with a small spoolie and little fibres. On no-makeup days I just use it and some mascara. And love the look today!

I've been watching KZbin for so long that I don't know what my makeup collection would look like if I hadn't discovered KZbin.. I know before that, I exclusively bought from the drugstore, specifically mainstream brands like CoverGirl, Maybelline, Revlon and L'Oreal.. only when I went cruelty free I started buying from physicians formula (which was too expensive for me when I started wearing makeup) and other brands that were just starting to appear at the drugstore like elf or nyx..

Aside from eyeshadow and maybe lip products my collection is pretty minimal already meaning I just have a couple items for any given category or it ranges from 1-3 and I am quite happy with this. I plan to continue this trend as I would like to be even more minimal in the coming years, not quite there yet but as I get older I am realizing that I just want less things and that includes cosmetics. What I have is fine for now and for the next couple years but will dwindle down eventually and be happy with that most likely. Good video!

I'm so glad i followed your suggestion and got the Halo glow powder. In love with the soft finish it gives!! I am trying the actual halo glow liquid filter. Wish color 1 was lighter

This was fun! 🌻 I don't have a lot of space to store makeup, but I don't mind because it helps keep my collection small. Everything has to fit on one shelf in my bookshelf! I've got a little set of drawers on there, a caboodle, my cup of brushes, and a couple magnetic palettes where I keep my singles. Nothing else fits, and I love it! lol 😊

I used to have that & some 😂 💔 since I started buying singles & depotting palettes, I saw the no need for palettes anymore & kept decluttering until all I have left is limited editions & magnetic singles & now I've expanded them to eyeshadow crayons & cream shadow pots !!! My eyes aged before me, doesn't like powders anymore 😅

@@The.Violet.1 I have the Urban Decay Naked Smoky because it was a gift. I’ve never used it. I have the BH Cosmetics Zodiac palette I won in a giveaway. I have an Idol Cosmetics BTS palette, also a giveaway win. Probably 3/4 Wet n Wild 10 pan palettes- I love that formula. A small palette of Makeup Geek, Ofra, and Coastal Scents singles I should definitely declutter. One Lorac palette that’s too pigmented for me to use. And a new Wet n Wild 5-pan palette in Camoflaunt- I bought for the glitter but it’s not even eye safe. That’s all I can recall right now. 🤣

I used to have a collection like a KZbinr 😢 I started buying in bulk just to have "options." 😅 I got overwhelmed very quickly & I stopped , and then I kept thinking about using what I have & keeping what I love & started to declutter & and depotting like a maniac 😂 until all what's left is limited edition palettes & singles !😅 I do have all my other stuff in 1 makeup bag 🎉🎉🎉 and I have 1 foundation 1 concealer 1 powder 1 mascara 1 brow gel 1 powder blush (actually 2, but the essence is almost finished) 1 cream blush , 1 nude highlighter (golden champagne) 1 shimmer brick (aka glittery makeup revolution bronze & highlight in 1 , that I use like a blush too 😅) 1 cream shadow pot duo ( the shein version of Tom Ford 😅) 1 elf liquid eyeshadow 1 eyelashe curler 1 pencil sharpener 😅 2 eye primers ( milani & nyx glitter glue) 3 colored highlighters ( kaleidos, 1 compact & 2 depotted & and discontinued I use them as eyeshadow) 6 lip products (1 Oden's eye lip stain , 1 nyx butter gloss , 1 elf Velvet matte lipstick, 1LH glossy fantastick & 2 propa beauty satin lipsticks) 9 eyeshadow palettes ( 3 permanent & 6 limited editions) 11 eye pencil/shadow sticks/crayons 1 double-sided adept magnetic palette full of singles & depotted shadow ( I don't know how much, but it's full & then some)

A minimal collection for me would be one concealer: Fenty in 170, foundation would be: KVD Serum Foundation, the only brow product I would own would be a gel: Nyx Control Freak in Clear and just use an eyeshadow to fill in, I would not own a bronzer or highlighter and don't own any, I would own no more than two eye primers: KVD Shake Primer and I'm interested in buying a glitter primer, for eyeshadow palettes I would own: Pur X RawBeautyKristi, ABH Modern Ren., and can't see myself parting with any of my Natasha Denona palettes, I also would not own an eyeliner and would just use an eyeshadow, I would own two blushes: The Balm in Perserverance for a glowy powder blush and the Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush in Nude Kiss, for powder I would just any powder I wanted to try and use it up before buying another one to test out, I would have to always have an UD All Nighter Setting Spray, I would own any random lip balm formula I was curious about trying, my favorite lip liner is the UD 24/7 Glide-On in multiple shades and one from another brand to test the formula, for lipstick: UD Vice in Ravenswood and Bad Blood and KVD Everlasting Hyperlight Liquid Lip to test out the new formula since I liked the original, and for lip gloss: ABH in Tara and would probably have one or two more formulas from other brands to test out and use up before buying more to test out Now that I have the collection that I do, I don't see myself having less than what I currently own, unless a cream product goes bad on me before I can use it up as my powder products have been holding up well being stored in my bathroom. I would only declutter the powder products if I just wasn't in love with them anymore.

I have a huge collection and it started from watching KZbin, then I started a channel and got out of control, I'm decluttering a little at a time, but I would like all my things to fit into the storage I already own. I'm getting there but not close enough yet. I think you picked great products, your collection would still give you options.

I probably would have less than I do if I didn’t watch YT but I like having a lot of choices for things like eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipgloss. I’m very minimal in certain areas. I use the same foundation daily and maybe a couple primers, I have one concealer (same one as you!), one brow gel, and I usually only have 2-3 mascaras at a time.

I definitely do not have a minimal collection. About 100 palettes, 50+ blushes, only 9 foundations, 25+ eyeliners, 100 lipsticks, 18 highlighters, small amount of primers 5, 7 bronzers, 7 brow products, 4 eye primers, 3 mascaras. I'm sure I'm forgetting something lol. So yeah I've got a lot and that's not touching my skincare. To each their own.

Hi... Just wanted to add.. The reason you were able to find your favourites was because you've tried so many.. If you weren't on KZbin, you perhaps wouldn't have tried so many.. Or would have a larger collection from which you could pick favourites

Before I started watching KZbin I had a very small collection of makeup but now my collection is pretty large. I would say I have an obsession with makeup. I'm just too scared to actually make a channel.
