Sarah! I'm feeling so emotional right now. I'm from Kashmir, I don't know why but I'm crying, your mystery box made me realise how much I'm attached to my culture. God bless you🌟. RECIPE FOR ZAFRANI KAHWA: Heat 1.5 cup of water, add 8-10 strands of saffron and 2 cardamoms (elaichi) in it. Boil it till 0.5 cup evaporates and only 1 cup is remaining in the pot. Pour it in a cup, add sugar according to taste and add some chopped almonds/walnuts in your cup. Enjoy! #SarahSquad

Saffron in Hindi is Kesar! And yes Kahwa is the famous kashmiri chai, you can try Girnar's kahwa (may not match the aunthenticity of Kashmir, but it's easily available in Bombay)

Hlo Sarah The thing you called as basket for almonds and Candy's is known as KANGRI in kashmiri... Kashmiri people use it during winters in order to keep themselves warm... we fill KANGRI with koila(coal ) and give it some fire.. Hey I am from Jammu which is different from Kashmir and I have almost all the things you have got cause in jammu kashmir government keeps shiting in every 6 months and in vacations I use to visit there so it bought back a lot of nostalgia for me and made me realized these thing which are normal for me are extremely special for you but now I feel unsafe in Kashmir there is a constant fear it is a heaven on earth but due to security I will never want to visit that place and Kashmir is being so commercialized that it's beauty is getting lost like area of dal lake is getting decreased every year. And Jammu and Kashmir are different not same both culture are different and a request please do a dogri next time it is very underrated and I would love to send you a mystery box sarah
