I have a two year old and an eight month old, and the idea that you are just able to get housework done without being interrupted by little children all the time is mind-blowing to me! I feel like staying on top of housework is impossible and I can't see the end of the tunnel yet 😅

It's honestly easier when you have more kids. My oldest of five is almost 7, and they all play a lot more independently than when I had little ones your kids' ages. My 2 year old does check in with me a lot, but she doesn't mind playing off with the big kids. My youngest is still a newborn, though, and that 6 month to 2 year gap is the hardest with them needing to be by you all the time. Thankfully they usually take long naps, though, which gives you a bit of a break. Don't be discouraged, the stage you're in is hard but so sweet to look back on! It's not about getting everything done, but being there for your kids. You're doing great, mama ❤

I grew up in a hot climate, and it's so ingrained in me to do your business in the fridge as fast as possible! I live in a cooler place now, so it's not as necessary, but old habits die hard 😅

Great goodness yes! I'm from Florida, and every time someone in a cooler climate stands with their door open, just enjoying the beautiful outdoors, all I can see are bugs invading my life for DAYS after leaving the door open for one minute.

@ that’s right! A bit of bookkeeping here and there between his church visits and free work for other people’s families… Imagine if he got an actual job and Sarah was able to explore her creative side without the necessity of financially providing for her family on top of doing all the homemaking. Now that would be a respectable Christian man! One that didn’t allow his wife the burden of financially, emotionally and physically providing for her family MOSTLY on her own. She’s admitted, he is gone most of the time. She’s alone with five children being a teacher on top of earning an income and taking care of children and home… that’s a lot to handle as one young woman. That is too many hats for one young woman. A full time teacher, a full time content creator, a full time cleaner, a full time cook and a full time mother… My heart breaks for this situation - it must be so draining doing it MOSTLY on her own.
