Thank you another brilliant idea, maybe you had a bit of hand cream on you hands and it tranferded to the card and then the tape won't stick. I hope your better soon.

Love this idea. Would love to do this for my daughter's birthday coming up. One question I have is does the card stand up well, or should I attach something between the front and back panel, close to the bottom to keep it from spreading out and collapsing?

Mine stood OK, but if you do put a strap at the bottom You can then decorate the back with your message, it also hides the mechanics!
