Join me for a fun project request - bead stringing wire tassels. We will be putting together a pretty necklace and talking all about tassels and tassel connections.
Materials Needed:
Mixed beads (your choice)
49 strand bead stringing wire
Crimp beads
Crimp tubes
Tassel topper or large cord end
Jump rings
Clasp

Tina is right! I know when to run to the mail box. I also tie my bag of beads and stick them at the bottom of another bag under other stuff.when shopping. lol

I put all my beadbox items in container all by themselves. I like looking at all the new shiny goodies for awhile. I also start and stop my subscription . I do remember that the first ones I got were actually in a box instead of an envelope.

The Metal Gallery at Hobby Lobby is their metal beads, metal spacers, and metal bead caps. The Jewelry Shoppe is all the findings. I love your videos and your bubbly personality. Your designs are lovely and well-taught. By the way, my mom's mom's maiden name was Ellis, so we are related somewhere along the line. Unless Ellis is your married name, in which case I'm, however distantly, related to your ex (If that's the case, I'll hope you don't hate me). I’ve been waiting for you to do a project featuring the Bargain Bead Box. You did not disappoint! Love the necklace and I just found the big tulip bead caps on Etsy and placed an order! Please do more BBB projects. There are only a couple KZbinrs that consistently inspire me. Unfortunately the majority of other ones using the boxes are totally uninspired and sometimes not worth watching. Thank you for sharing and I hope you do more BBB projects! Would love to see some wire wrapping on those long agate drops.

I have used fire line to make tassels for earrings, the flow was awesome and I also made some tassels short, some long, some medium. But I'm not sure if fireline has the strength to last, I'm not a seed beader and was directed to buy fireline to use for seed beads. I have not tried it for anything other than my tassel earrings.

Sara, My wife and I make jewelry together. I love to anneal and curve forks into bracelets and also make silverware rings. My wife is heavily into beading. My Grandmother had a hand made rosary that her Grandmother gave her. It was from Ireland. My Grandmother was born in 1896 so you know that rosary was old. She went in a Nursing Home and we allowed that Rosary to go with her...mistake... It came up missing. We asked about it but no Rosary was ever found. So we don't know if it got mixed in with her laundry or if someone saw its beauty and stole it. I hope it was just "lost". If you steal a Rosary I would think you are the evilest of evil.

Hi I am kinda new to making jewelry and still trying to figure some things out. Can you make a necklace with fishing line? I have seen someone with a long necklace almost to her knees. Some of the bead I know was 25mm. What could possibly hold these beads and I know the maker must have gone through more than once? I also don't think that it's any connector on the back. Thank you for the video I did get some value from it...any help I would be grateful for.

I am loving this necklace. This is so in my style. Beautiful job Sara. 1 question of the beautiful subject. I have beadalon nippers and they are super dull which numbs me out cause I love them. Is there somewhere to send them to get sharpened or do I have to buy new? I hope not😢

Unfortunately, you can’t get them sharpened. I wish that you could. I’ve been through many over the years. My best advice is only use them to cut wire and they will stay sharper longer. Once they dull or chip, I use them to cut leather, other cords, etc. but I mark the handle so I don’t get them mixed up with the new pair.

Most flush cutters should not be used for cutting stainless steel beading wire. I use a heavy-duty cutter for the stainless steel and save my nippers for gauged wire which should keep them sharper longer. ❤
