And I'm usually the one coming off as an enfp in real life, I'm very optimistic, energetic and happy and I like to show that..but I do still find emotions uncomfortable and I get very awkward extremely often. I also freak out on what I'm saying and care a lot for people but I still can be insensitive like if someone drops something, I'll be the first to laugh like a horrible person lmao. And I see my self as more thinker than feeler sometimes cause I prefer objective truth over someones opinion and if emotions are in play, its kinda annoying cuz Id rather have actual facts and logic. tbh Ive been going over my type beng istp, infp, intp, enfp, and isfp for ages now...and I just like to make jokes of my suffering but you seem nice so I'll share this deep info with you, maybe you can help me, cause I get an idea that you're smart too. Maybe you're infj?..idk Im guessing... I have social anxiety and adhd and Im a hsp (highly sensitive person) but the sign I relate to most is intp...unless they are being insensitive then I can't. My mum is entp and my dad dropped chicken on the ground and she kept making fun of him, it was funny at first but then I wanted to make sure dad wasn't actually hurt by that too badly so I told mum to stop and I had intrusive thoughts about what could happen to him....But I think thats just genuine empathy. Other times, my brother who I think is a fe user..or so, he will express emotions to me and ask me for comfort (he always comforts me but I cant comfort him) and when he does this I get all awkward and just unable to say anything cause I'm paranoid whatever I say will come off as rude. He takes my reaction of apathy as annoyance and then continues to get more emotional and open and that bothers me more. Most infps are supposed to be good listeners and usually feelers are extremely good at coping with emotions, they might find it awkward too but they wouldn't pull the things I do. But I guess its the intrusive thoughts that make me hate comforting others so much, "What If I say something wrong and it makes me want to kill themselves" ect.. Sorry I went on a rant Should I mention that I'm also not good at expressing my thoughts online or in real life, especially not to people and I can be observant and touch random things in the environment but usually like rn..I didn't even notice it was 5:10 am in the morning lmao idk..

ISTPs are just so cool. I see so much of myself in them, probably because we share dominant Ti, but they're just so much more... confident, I guess? Or maybe they're just less uncertain. Either way I definitely envy it. Their way of calmly and succinctly stating their *mostly* well reasoned beliefs (hey, I've got Ne, of course I see flaws in many of their ideas :P) just makes them so easy to chat with, provided you don't bulldoze them with abstract ideas or anything else they think is boring (that last part's true with most people, to be fair, haha). Thanks again for compiling clips of these ISTPs, Sara. More than myself even, I see my best friend from childhood represented in a lot of them, and that's pretty nice. MBTI is a pretty interesting thing, isn't it?

Now that I've actually put that out there it's probably obvious to some that Jack Dorsey, Clint Eastwood, Eminem and Christian Bale are the same type but the others don't 'feel' like they do. Learning to type snowballs, once you get a type figured out it's easy to spot that 'energy'. I personally have a lot of Extraverted Intuition and so my methods are going to hinge on me utilizing that tool, but good data, cross checked by others, is how you make your tools better whichever perception functions you happen to have.
