@@TheWindyBurrow What I love about her garden is that, no matter how humble yours is, you can find ideas for your own lovely garden. For example: I don't want to fuss with a pond, but I think I will have a bowl low to the ground with water and float flowers in it.

It's one year later. I just found this video. I've watched hundreds of garden videos. This is truly the most peaceful and beautiful of all! I loved your intro as well. It was sweet and heartfelt. And I, as their very tired mother, just longed for some chocolate, reed wine, a hot water bottle and a blanket on the sofa watched this absolutely amazing video of the most beautiful garden ever. thank you so much for the slowness, the music, the few words and this most wonderful garden. Your choice of music was wonderful to enhance the experience. Ninnie, you are a genius at garden design and implementation. Your gardens(and home!) are so lovely, there are not enough words to describe the feelings they bring. I think you have said before that you have done most of the work yourself, and I just can’t see how one person could do all this, or even two. It looks like it took a whole team to build it and another just to do the upkeep! Bravo, bravo, bravo! And thanks so much for sharing your lovely world with us.

Absolutely lovely Garden and surrounding areas. Nice flow. Beautiful plants and stunning blooms! Meandering paths...what more could one want than a quiet seat and a lovely cup of tea to take it all in and admire the birds, bees and butterflies. The sounds and scents... A magnificent respot from all that's going on around you. Serenity! Thank you Ninnie for allowing us in to your sanctuary!! 🤗❤️💐☕✌️

I just watched this again.....perhaps, 10th time. (LOL) Oh, how very much I truly love your gorgeous gardens Ninnie. Pure peaceful pleasure. How on earth does anybody give a thumbs down? All I can say is that they have no taste or beauty in their hearts! Please don't let them discourage you. God bless you sincerely. From Pennsylvania, USA

Thank you, Ninnie What a beautiful inspiration. I am trying to plan a garden throughout my blank slate of a yard around the 122 yr old house I just purchased last yr. I love the way you have used color throughout your garden on benches, beds, buildings, then echo it in flowers. I love the way the paths are set up that lead first your eyes, then make you want to walk through them.

Thank you, Ninnie, for allowing Sara to take us through your garden. What unmitigated joy, particularly being offered during the period when Covid-19 was initially rampaging across the world. In the midst of that there was this.... So nice to let a garden speak for itself and its gardener rather than narrating the experience. It fed my soul today, and I will be back. Thank you, Sara.

Ninnie, Your garden brought tears to my eyes this morning. The pacing of the video and soft but driving music that the tour was set to leads me into contemplation. You've clearly thought of this as well. There are benches and wrought-iron tables and chair scattered about, for perspectives, and moments of quiet thoughts, perhaps with a friend, and a cup of tea or coffee. Many of your rooms are so light and ephemeral that without stone paths and rock, they might lift themselves off the ground and float away. Airy ferns, yarrow, perhaps even archangel. You balance very well the stout and low-growing with whispy tendrils growing at eye level and above Your garden feels ancient, yet teeming with Earth energy, channeled by rock in your flowing landscape. Weathered metal gates and whimsical spirals reaching into the air. Great stone urns dot your garden. Old galvanized buckets. Weathered wooden chairs. I love that some parts of your garden are architectural for the pleasure of the visitor, while other areas are functional, and used to enjoy fresh vegetables and fruits. The re-use of long sticks for your vines is something the gardeners in my family do too (me included). Why buy a bamboo stick from a store when old-growth trees are constantly "volunteering" dead sticks? I saw a tomte in your garden, although I forget precisely where (which probably suits him just fine). How perfectly appropriate, guarding your spaces and protecting against needless change.

Thank you so much for looking and that you like my garden. The tomte you saw is the gnom Kevin. He stands on an old irontable under the big tree on the little hill. He just stands there watching me.🤗
