I remember when i was just a little boy and they had races like this in Arendal Norway - when the Victory team were racing. You could hear those boats at a very far away distance. A damn shame we don't have those high class races no more but then i found this channel and i enjoy it very much, thanks you!

The 9 looks like it’s a wild ride. Wants to lift the nose. Unbelievable shot’s really gives you the sense of the raw speed and power.

It’s hard to imagine moving at 120 mph on water and NOT getting blown over or digging. As a kid I hand the rare privelege of riding in a hydroplane( Miss Budweiser U-13 on Lake Washington) with Fred Alter, he took it up to about 110+ and I was absolutely horrified. I can’t imagine that speeding a catamaran.

I am in awe. I fantasize, as I check my lotto tickets with what I would buy. One of these boats is always in the top three on my list. This is one of the last things that a "speed junkie" can do to get his or her fix...so to speak. Supercars like the Bugatti Vehron, where could you. drive it, letting it all hang out, WFO, without concerns of breaking the law, grevious personal injury to others or oneself? This would be pure bliss owning/racing one of these boats going head to head with other speed junkies bouncing across the waves at speeds of 115 to 160 mph depending on the water conditions Dam, I am 63, 😮and I don't see it happening for me in this lifetime. OH WELL, a man can dream, can't he? They haven't figured out how to take that away from us yet .😊

I would try my best to buy one of the old Team Apache boats. Those 80s style, open top, deep Vs, with those beautiful engines roaring, and riding those 4-6' waves. Pure, raw, unrelenting, speed. Then I would maybe see what happens, and try and get me a ride in one of Schumachers Ferrari F1 cars. The F2004 would be nice.
