Thank you so much for posting this , I love Sarasvati . I've been studying her recently and I relate to her so much . As a musician and an eternal student I guess that makes sense !

"Aim" is Saraswati's Vedic bija (seed/root syllable) form and "aing" is Saraswati's Tantric bija form. In Sunyavada Saraswati's book "Tantrik kriya yoga" he wrote that Tantric bijas are much more powerful when correctly pronounced. (:

Aim , the beej of Saraswati can be thought of the frequency, the essence of Saraswati's entire Being. Though nothing can capture her fully, this sound is one of the ways it does.

Sanskrit is a phonetic language. It is a universal language based on sounds that all people naturally make. The energies that they manifest are inherent. If you see Dr.Emoto's work with water crystals, you'll see that language makes a different crystal. When you chant, you're creating that pattern so to speak in your conciousness. The mantras were discovered and not made. You should chant them without expectations of results. That's science, not belief. You cannot perceive the existing results.

This mantra is so beautiful & peaceful. I really love that and play it everyday, all day long. But I have a question. I thought, I will see the significant difference by listening and chanting all day. But unfortunately I am not. What should I do to get saraswati maa's blessings? Should I do some more? Please tell me. Thanks!

@holyhollianna I think for any mantra or spiritual practice to "work" you can't be looking for clear cut results.. like all of a sudden you write a radio hit song. You have to just envision and really believe in your conscious and subconscious mind that what you want to happen will. Saying a mantra can be a way to remind your brain to focus on that goal. Hope that makes sense :)

Hi nk30us, it is also for intelligence in general (e.g. students, teachers, scholars and educationists of various subjects, especially the arts). (:

@holyhollianna Don't expect any results from your practice; just surrender to that love and peace coming from the holy vibrations of the mantra. Be greatful, don't ask for anything. That peace coming from deep meditation is enough evidence you're getting some results out of it. Don't give up, but detach from the outcome of everything you do in life.

The mantra I have is OM EIM SARASWATIYEI SWAHA. The end is not NAMAH. Which one is correct. I have heard that when you namaskar to male gods and female gods the end is different. Like in OM GUM GANAPATAYEI NAMAHA. Is this the difference? Then what about what is chanted here?

is this mantra only for creativity in arts or just also for the inteligence in general, like science, and personal logic?

I was initiated into this mantra 9 months ago by a guru in India and have been chanting it ever since, but I see no results and continue to be confused. Guess the mamtra's don't work for everyone, maybe it's better to chant in your native tongue, as it might resonate with you more with what you're trying to achieve. Any thoughts?

Hello, I thought this mantra was supposed to end in swaha, instead of namaha. Is the one for swaha meant for scholars? I note you said this was especially good for musicians and artists.
