Hi, I see your method is great but the Wave Geometry Linker is not included in NX12450, and it's quite expensive, right?

Wow!! Thanks man!

When you manufacrure a part of a large assembly, by this method, you create another assembly within an assembly?
@markanderson50675 жыл бұрын
Yes, you will make the component that is needing machined the work part and the file, new, manufacturing template. This will pull the work part into the manufacturing assembly file for machining. If it is done any other way you will lose functionality. Your machining component must be a component of the manufacturing assembly or you will lose functions like wave linking, associative copy’s and your original assembly file will house both design and manufacturing files which is one of the main functions of NX.

You should never try to machine a component of an assembly in the design module. Each component should be made the work part and then file, new, manufacturing template. This will create a new file independent of the original assembly file. Call (419) 967-2184 and we will do a screen share and I can show you better then explain it. No trouble at all.
