Elite i20 asta (O) getting 13-14kmpl in city(TN 72😈) and 18-19Kmpl on highways on light foot. Hyundai's are highly sensitive towards throttle inputs. The best way to get mileage is to drive this car in 3rd gear in city with controlled throttle inputs.

Pls make light footed drive. You will be surprised with the mileage. My i20 petrol is giving 15-16 in city and 18-19 in highways in 120kmph

I own an i20 sportz petrol 2016 model. Mileage wise, within city (Coimbatore and Trivandrum) i get around 13 and state highway i get around 15 (Dharapuram to Coimbatore and similar) ..NH single traveller i was able to get upto 18. And NH fully loaded usually i get around 16.5. Couple of issues/positives i would like to add. Mileage was not an issue for me with this car, when i keep it 90-100, the mileage i get is what i specified above. When i drive around ~120, this drops drastically, even on NH at times i get 14.5 while driving 120+. Engine power wise, the 3rd gear does not have enough pull. When we drive a polo or even Indica Vista, there is an enhanced pull from the engine when we move to 3rd gear which is lacking in i20 atleast on petrol engines. Smoothness wise, this car is the best. polo or any car are never even close.Power wise, as you said, it is not too powerful. I was driving a maruti zen for about 10 years then chose this. Overall im happy with it after driving 50k+ kms in 5 years.. But if someone loves power rather refinement/perfomance, this is not the car. If you want more leg room, smoothness, smooth transition of gears, a very nice traveller experience (non-driver i mean) then this is a very nice choice.

Honest review.......just now engine to compressor belt changed due to extra sound .....every I 20 will face AC problem for sure. Be ready to spend for that 😂😂.Highway 17.2 km/L.....city 15 km/L....company maintained service record.......2014 elite i 20 Asta (o). The way he has explained about the car are 100% true...all the best bro for reaching 80k fans.

Yes bro ur correct I own 2007 model i10 era..I also attain 140kmph top speed..during attaining this speed there may be wobbling of steering and brakes are worst..I got mileage of range 12-13 city and in highway 13-15 kmpl..my average crushing speed 80-90 kmph..

im having i20 Asta opt topend petrol varient pros 1. nice heavy build . ( the weight of i20 is almost equal to maruti ciaz ) 2. very good sound insulation inside the car 3. nice plush ride 4. comparatively stable on high speed 5. looks premium and hyundai reputation 6. Six AIRBAGS safety 7. Rear ac vents. long drive la rear passengers wont feel fatigue con 1. Utter rubbish mileage (8 - 9 ) city ( 12 to 15 )highway (120kmph ) driving 80kmph in highway will give around 16kmph if u consistently maintain the same speed throughout with 80 to 100 range if u suddenly raise ur speed and ride without consistency you will get 11 to 12 in highway which is very annoying 2. brake is literally waste .. even if the brake works you wont feel it in ur legs as a driver you will be clueless whether the car will stop or not and brake arent the sharpest and only if youre driving in linear fashion everything about the car will make sense or else it will be very unpredictable 3.service cost is little on the expensive side as once the free service is done labour cost will be high and adding on the gst the final price will be very high i remember paying 12k after my free service 4.steering wheel and alignment will be a nightmare for keen enthusiastic driver . feedback from the wheel to steering will be very vague this is car is worth the money but not worth the ownership if you really love the design and feel of the car you can buy this car i personally bought this car for 6 airbags and plush ride quality good insulation feel inside the car when i go out as a family i feel little safer had to sacrifice the mileage and my driving enthusiasm for the car

In my car gives city11-13 , highway-15-17 and also I am using this i20 sportz2019 model I am satified with this car for ride quality, Interior look and also build quality. You said lot of negatives for your point. But In my point of view in this price range overall best hatchback in this segment.

I have a 2017 I20 Active SX PETROL, i truly want to say that IF U WANT MILEAGE U NEED TO COMPRISE THE SPEED (70KMPH). IF YOU DRIVE PROPERLY ON ANY CAR WITH LESS THAN 2500RPM , ANY XAR WOULD GIVE A BETTER MILEAGE. I HAD WENT To Velankanni an scane back to Palakkad my Home Town with 5000rs of petrol (49litres), I was getting the MILEAGE of 17kmpl. For that I cleansed the Air filter, drive at 85 to 160kmph speed (in between Karur to Trichy and Trichy to Tanjore) and Vice Versa. I put the AC at 24°c and u did not change down the gear while the car reduced the speed from 100kmph to 40kmph. Do not have to Change the gear, Linear Acceleration would give better Mileage. Try. For yourself. I challenge in this 👍. I felt it personally. I20 with 85BHP gives good mileage and speed. DONT EXPECT MILEAGE VY RASH DRIVING AND HIGH SPEED,. NO CAR WILL GIVE

Bro,it seems you missed some important postive notes too.... 1.Eventhough rough plastics has been used,cabin beidge treatment is done and feels to be premium interior when compared to any car in this segment. 2.it has some killer look which cannot even match the current segment leaders , especially the ELITE I20.... 3.Yes that stop lamp enough was to buy that car but unfortunately hyundai is tearing down the features on the name of cost cutting.. 4.Diamond cut alloys is just pleased to be seen on night when the car passes by glittering it's alloys. 4.What else mileage can we expect on this bumber to number traffic city where 4/5 th gears are missed 5. Segment first features where brought down when this car was unleashed. 7.thats not a disadvantage bro sitting in a lower position even you drive lambo you will be in road .it will lead to a better judgement on driving experience.. 8.forgot about the sleek gearbox and the soft clutch which you need just a finger to move which makes the city ride even more comfortable. Love for i20...... Yes it has negatives but which be ignored

A Petrol car can Rev up to 6000rpm. But a Diesel car can Rev upto only 4000rpm and it loses Breath. Easily if u r Racing between Petrol i20 and Diesel i20 the initial torque pushes the Diesel, but the the Petrol finishing First as it can rev more 👍👍👍
