Most probably all the airport around sarawak due to sarawak will have it own airlines this year, secondly...Unimas as sarawak will have it own education syllabus and full autonomy this year.

@@takenbythewindNdrivenbythesea LOL. Depends. Venezuela looks like a pseudo-socialist dictatorship with poor governance which antagonise a lot of western nations. Having said that, with increasing autonomy or rather "independence", I wonder why Sarawak should stay in the Federation. A lot of state policies are already at odds with the federal government's: Immigration autonomy. Recognition of the Chinese UEC. Usage of "Allah" by Christians. State owned universities. English as an official state language. Establishment of state owned international schools using English as the medium of education. State-owner oil company. State owned airlines, soon. ETC. Further, Borneo does not share any land border with the Peninsular. Look at what happened between East and West Pakistan as an example. Why not just walk away and call the 60 years' experiment a failure?

The local leaders that you all champion as saviours will eventually coiled around you’ll and squeezed before swallowing you’ll like a python. We been growing up witnessing history. Look what happened to Philippines who used to championed their leaders in the 70’s. The list of the countries like the Philippines can go on and on. Moving away from peninsula is not going to bring any benefits. You see, we’re not politicians and the best is to keep mouth shut tight and do our job. Let the people who holds the power do their job. Yes this country has a lot to be fixed and it’s a long road ahead. No point of talking about what happened 100 years ago. We talk about now!!! Now and future beyond! We can fix this together! By chanting that I’m Anak Sarawak patriotic slogan and bloodline of brutal headhunters is not going to fixed anything! So I suggest we shut the f**k up and start giving hand and fix this mess together! We will gear up towards 2024 and beyond!

Can you imagine the amount of developments if the O&G revenues stayed within the Sarawak, developing it, instead of going into the federal coffers to develop the states in the Peninsular and building the Twin Towers? Whenever I pass thru' KL and see the TT, I say, that is where Sarawak's wealth disappear into. It's a choice of the lesser of 2 evils. What's there to lose?

@@takenbythewindNdrivenbythesea BTW, I don't think you should compare the Philippines and Sarawak. Philippines has a pop of 109 mils, Sarawak about 2.9 mils. Philippines' land area, 320,000 sq kms. Pop density 339/sq kms. Sarawak, area 125,000 sq kms, density 23/sq kms. Try comparing countries of similar sizes and population, like Norway and the Baltic States, and try to see whether it can emulate them. Having said that, someone once said; ‘nothing to fear but fear itself’.
