Sarawak is created by Rajah James Brooke who free us from Sultan Brunei that colonized us(before 1846), later that British colonizer us(after 1946), so for Sarawakian whether British or Brunei language is the colonizer Language, only James Brooke language is our founding language, language in our blood.

Time to consider a split from Malaysia. Sarawak, Sabah and Penang can do better on its own. Either join with Singapore, who will willingly take you in. Or become independent. I heard that airlines pilots have to converse in Inglish. "In 1951, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recommended in "ICAO Annex 10 ICAO (Vol I, 5.2.1.1.2) to the International Chicago Convention" that English be universally used for "international aeronautical radiotelephony communications." Despite being a recommendation only, ICAO aviation English was widely accepted". Wiki. Hmmmmm...wonder why not BM?

It is Sarawak right to use English not only to teach STEM subjects but even as medium of instruction in Sarawak schools as stated in the MA 63. But that does not mean that BM be ignored as it still remains our national language.

Akta bahasa kebangsaan 1963 dan 1973 (review) hanya terpakai di semenanjung Malaysia dan Sabah saja kerana kedua dua wilayah atau bagian wilayah tersebut (Sabah & semenanjung Malaysia) telah menandatangani surat persetujuan @ perjanjian untuk mengangkat bahasa Malaysia sebagai bahasa resmi mereka, akta bahasa kebangsaan tidak boleh di kuatkuasakan di Sarawak kerana Sarawak berkecuali atau dengan kata lain Sarawak tidak pernah menandatangani persetujuan untuk mengangkat bahasa Malaysia sebagai bahasa resmi Sarawak, perlembagaan Sarawak sendiri dengan jelas menyebut kalau bahasa english adalah bahasa resmi Sarawak dan bahasa Malaysia adalah pilihan atas dasar menghormati perlembagaan Malaysia, bahkan di dewan undangan Sarawak sendiri ahli dewan bebas menggunakan bahasa english untuk berbahas dan kalau perlu masih boleh menggunakan bahasa ibunda masing2, bahasa adalah pilihan masing2 dan tidak perlu dipaksa dan memaksa. Soal bangsa yang merdeka dan berdaulat!!!!!! Anda jaga negeri anda dulu ya, dalam erti kata yang lain....jaga negeri dan wilayah masing2, soal maju dan mundur,miskin dan kaya itu terpulang kepada rakyat dan pemimpin masing2.

Selama nie org2 kt Sarawak takde bahasa berhubung guna bahasa isyarat, tu sebab kena guna bahasa asing.

Sabah Sarawak dari dulu sampai sekarang mengunakan bahasa Inggeris. Bahasa Melaya adalah bahasa asing.

itu hak istimewa kami BLOCK BORNEO , sekali lagi , kami bukan negeri tapi wilayah yang mempunyai LOCAL government kami sendiri , kami tidak ikut apa yang MALAYA buat sebab itu ENGLISH terpakai di BLOCK Borneo , Kalau bukan join FEDERATION OF MALAYSIA kami dah cakap DUSUN ,IBAN dan bahasa utama adalah ENGLISH kami hanya ikut apa yang ada dalam MA 63 , jangan kamu mempersoalkan hak kami dalam FEDERATION OF MALAYSIA sebab hak kami terkandung dalam PERJANJIAN MA 63

@@johnathanlo7636 bahasa malaya bukan saja bahasa asing tapi bahasa penjajah. Sekrg kerajaan Persekutuan mula main isu Bahasa untuk terus memundurkan Sabah Sarawak. KITA tahu Bahasa English di semananjung jauh maju dari Sabah Sarawak. Dengan menekan isu English, mereka ingin terus mengasingkan kita dari dunia luar.

Well done Sarawak. Why be ashamed of your heritage. To give up English for Malay only serves to diminish your ability to progress. Beef up Malay by all means.
