I bought this cd at a thrift store in middle school. I’m not joking when I say this entire album changed my life back then

So cool !! Some of the best things in life come across unexpected or by accident. I'm a 45 record collector and found some of these low charting gems at yard sales, not knowing what they were and thanked whoever the high power is that led me there. This record was one of those and it looked like it was hardly played. This got virtually no airplay back home when it came out.

Honestly, there should be far more Saraya reaction videos than there currently are. For anyone reading this comment, I strongly recommend you send as many requests as possible to as many reaction channels as you can for Saraya content. Trust me, it will be worth it and chances are there will be new potential Saraya fans (not to be confused with the AEW star of course) in the making if we do this! 👍🏻

This is one of the first CD's I ever bought. I have Albums, 8-tracks, Cassettes and I swore that I wouldn't buy them. Now the Video is on my phone... Yes, I grew up in the 1900's.

Fantastic! One of my favorites since it was released. Sandi Saraya's clear powerful vocals are amazing. Very unfortunate they did not receive the recognition they deserved. 3-4 years earlier they probably go right to the top.

Always loved *Saraya* and would've loved to have seen them be more successful. I had both releases on cassette and have had them on CD for the last couple decades. Great classic rock from a glorious era of music.
@johnkilpatient1509 Жыл бұрын
Heard this song on Q102 Dallas then ran across the cassette of this perfect debut at KMart! "Gypsy Child" should've been a single and "Running Out of Time" sent to ZROCK! Still have both original cassettes and CD's of their 2 albums. They were a criminally underrated band. Queen of Sheba? When the Blackbird Sings should be a classic as well. "When You See Me Again"?!? "White Highway, Seducer"!?! C'mon... Never got to see them, but I'd be 1st in line to see the reunion they've spoke of in the recent past.

Their three singles never charted higher than #63. Many don't get recognition unless they have a big radio hit. It's really sad. This one should have gone top 10.

Smoke filled room Champagne on ice Bed of roses But something still ain't right Light through my window Lazy afternoon I wanna taste the good life But I'm missing you too soon Take my heart, take my soul Love has taken it's toll I got no feeling, no control Love has taken it's toll I'm halfway around the world You're halfway gone Please don't say you're leaving I know where I belong I see only you In every face I meet I may not say I love you, sugar But I sure know what it means, yeah Oh, yeah, yeah Take my heart, take my soul Love has taken it's toll I got no feeling, no control Love has taken it's toll They say that love is Like the edge of a knife Cold and hard and Waiting to cut you But I could hold you For the rest of my life I close my eyes and Reach out to touch you again Touch you again Yeah Spring turns into winter The day kisses the night And all I can remember, honey Is kissing you goodbye I still think about you On those deep dark lonely nights I hold you in my aching heart And I pray that you're still mine, yeah Mine, mine, mine, yeah Take my heart, take my soul Love has taken it's toll I got no feeling, no control Love has taken it's toll Love has taken it's toll Sha la la la la Love has taken it's toll
