Sarbloh (wrought iron) is the metal used in the Bata (a bowl or cauldron) used by Guru Gobind Singh Ji to prepare the Amrit during the Khalsa initiation ceremony in 1699. The Khanda (a double edged knife or sword) was also made of Sarbloh. To this day all Amrit Sanchaars are conducted using a bata and khanda made of sarbloh

Sarabloh is the Iron usually used for Making Kada, Kirpan, bata(bowl) and Khanda and many more things, at the time of Vaisakhi in 1699 Sri Guru Govind Singh ji ne jado panj shees de mang kiti Khalsa pant Sajaon lai udo Guru Saheb ne Sarabloh da Bata te Khanda da amrit (jis which mata ji ne Batase pa k mitha kita) chaka k Amrit di daat ditti 5 singha hu te khalsa Panth Sajaya. Aaj v jede Bibeki Singh te Dal panth wich sarabloh de hi bartan istamal honde ne and it a Pure form of Iron same as KHALSA.
