Tbh I think gov themselves killed bsnl because when jio 4g was new I used to use bsnl 3g and speed where about 3 to 4 MB/s but suddenly after 2021-2022 it dropped its speed . I used to play pubg on it with no issues

iirc till few years back, it was necessary to check the KYC document along with a physical check of the address, report back to the MSP and then only the sim / number was activated so as to stop unverified numbers which could be used in illegal activities. i still remember airtel & vodafone used to take 3-5 days in Lucknow city itself to activate numbers.

BSNL has worst customer services Almost 1/10th of the towers across India. I travel a lot across the country. Therefore, I have all three of them, Jio, Airtel and BSNL. BSNL works hardly at across 10% of the places that I have visited while Airtel works in every city that I visted but Jio works almost everywhere across the nation.

Everything mentioned in this video is truth about BSNL recently I also ported my number in BSNL And the service is very poor not 4G in my area But telephone exchange told me that in my area they are providing 4g service Also I am un able to activate 4G service through sms If you have any information please let me know?

In our district there are only 75 towers of BSNL and only 15 of them are 4G, whereas JIO has approx 280 towers. So govt need to invest heavily on BSNL for better 4G network.

Ye BSNL walo ne bas apne office k pass 4G tower laga rakha hai 😅😏🤬 Mere area mein. Jio 4G : 50 Mbps, 4G+ : 104 Mbps, Jio 5G n28 : 70 Mbps, Jio 5G n78 : 800 Mbps. Airtel 4G : 30 Mbps, Airtel 4G+ : 60 Mbps. Vi 4G : 20 Mbps ( 4G+ not available ) BSNL 3G : could not perform speed test ( condition is so bad, 4G not launched yet )

I used BSNL for 1 year since 2022-2023 then switched to Airtel ( totally not happy now ). At that time i could get 100-900kbps in hand speed ( speed in byte per sec not bit), and at night 1-3 Mbps. Maybe because many people are porting now, speed have decreased. Volte wasn't there so while calling i couldn't use internet, which was a big con for me at that time. I was getting 3gb/day with unlimited data at night (12 - 6am), and other facilities for call& sms.

Bhai agar mai only data wala recharge karta hun ( 780rs me 2gb for 180 days) jisme calling aur sms nahi milta to kya mai iske upar topup recharge kar sakta hu talktime aur sms ke liye

Near my home no bsnl tower is erected recently, but still i get 6-12mbps on 3G and after 4G launch which was around May 21, i have been getting mixed results, seldom speed reached 33mbps while other time it remained below 25mbps, i live in madhya pradesh, singrauli, and bsnl has only been the network that worked here properly, they are just getting started so many improvements are expected and i have used dsl broadband in the past while fibre is being currently in operation, BsNL has come a long way.

I had a very smooth experience of porting to BSNL SIM. I visited BSNL head office in Gurugram sector 18. The main gate guard guided me towards CSC counter inside the office. ( it's a huge office complex by the way). Got the sim by showing 2 photo ID and after 5 days the number got activated from JIo to BSNL. Did my first recharge of 107 from gpay app. The proper activation takes approx 5 hours to complete. Next day morning I downloaded the BSNL self care app. It's been 2 weeks now and Overall experience is super smooth. Actually there is absolutely no cLl dropes and super clear call clarity. Better than Jio. Definitely would suggest everyone to keep at least one sim from BSNL. Only draw back is for buying a SIM, one has to visit local BSNL exchange. You would not find local telecom shops selling BSNL sim like Jio or airtel.

​@@Mandeep-8 yes boss. If you compare cost benefit ratio, I would say better than jio. I didn't felt any difference in call quality compared to jio. In fact in few places where I used to have difficulty with jio, there also BSNL perform well. You have to remember, 5G signal have a shorter reach compared to 2G, 3G or 4G. Ncoz BSNL is still 4G or mostly 3G, the signal penetration is much much better.

Maybe in your area. In my area Jio>Airtel>BSNL>VI I get 45 Mbps on 4G and 120 on 4G+. On 5G I get 400 Mbps indoors. And 1.3 Gbps outdoors.

sad to say that govt n TRAI r not serious about sarkari BSNL and its giving advantage to Jio after taking electoral bonds. BSNL towers r lesser in numbers than others that's the big issue for network. BSNL fiber internet is way better than private that I can say as I am using it since many years. in Kerala and JK BSNL is as best but not in other states especially in urban areas. I wish BSNL should be the top in coming years.
