Sardine Fish Curry | With Mustard Paste
Ingredients :
1/2 kg sardine fish
1/3 cup oil
2 tbsp of chopped garlic
2 medium onion slices
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp chilli powder
2 - 3 tbsp mustard paste
1 1/2 tbsp of mustard oil
6 - 8 green chilli slices
A handful of coriander leaves
Mustard paste :
1/2 cup mustard seeds soaked for 30 - 40 mins. After 40 mins, blend with 1 cup of water, 1 tbsp of mustard oil, 1 tsp of ginger paste, 1 tsp of garlic paste, 1/2 tsp of sugar and 1/4 tsp of salt.you can use more water if needed.
I always store them in the fridge for later use and you can use an ice tray or small containers.
