It's hilarious how many people buy owner hooks when they always come up bent and lose fish.......I'll take a cheap mustad any day..... have never had a bent one.... caught a 60 lb bluefin on a cheap Mustad 4/0. And 30 lb mono........

Good bite! This looks like a blast, even for an Old Salt like me (72). I’m surprised that even these light tackle setups don’t use levelwind reels. Why?? One more question, if you’re only 9 miles from port does that mean more fishing time, less travel?
