Pakistan and Bangladesh is not a part of india. Hence, this song belongs to india. By your logic, Ghandiji was primarily responsible for giving Undivided india freedom , so Ghandiji should technically be the father of pakistan and bangladesh. That doesn't make sense. Just because sir muhammed iqbal(Former president of the muslim league and perhaps the first major pro pakistan leader ) wrote it, doesn't mean it belongs to pakistan or bangladesh. He wrote it for india. Even our national anthem , Jana Gana Mana was first sung way before the partition in 1911. So by your logic, our national anthem belongs to you as well. Why are you not singing it ?? If you are still part of hindustan, then why are you not called hindustani ?It's core ideals is what a country is identified by and the core ideals of india and pakistan-bangladesh are very different primarily religion-wise. India/hindustan is secular. While the latter is muslim. When sir muhammed iqbal wrote this, he was reffering to the secular india with hindus , muslims sikhs and christians. The secular india still exists today. It is not pakistan or bangladesh. It is India only. So shouldn't this song belong to us ??? You separated from undivided hindustan and now you want to sing it's song ??? whhhaaaaat ?? Then join us as a secular country. !!! we are ready to accept you!!!!
