It was a Japanese lady who was sent by Emperor Hirohito on the request of Maharaja Nalmudi krishna raja Wodiyer . She taught this special weaving,married a kannadiga ,had four children, ,highly qualified and later she worked in Japanese embassy.After going back to Japan she was honoured by Emperor hirohito..This artice had come about 20 years ago in the Hindu .Today, no one remembers her . She died in Japan.Her children and grand children live in several countries and still know kannada!

Keep collecting other states clothing also instead of one type. You will enjoy them... It's just a suggestion , .. don't feel bad ..There are very good collection of other regions of India.

Everything is as per cost 😊 My elder cousin showed her silk saree and I was not convinced with plain blouse and I asked her that for 16K saree no design blouse, then she pulled out her Mother in law mysore silk saree of 70K and showed the contrast design blouse.. I was really mesmerised by the cost at first 😅
