Hi Mr. Banerjee, I would like to make a correction in your comemnt - of these songs the original lyrics in Assamese are by Bhupenda himself. Those were translated to Bangla by Shibdas Banerjee. Assamese and Bangla, being much similar lexicologically, these songs in both the languages have mostly common words. Shibdas Banerjee, an ardent follower of Bhupenda was instrumental in introducing these songs to Bengali audience and he dis a great job indeed.
