গানের প্রথম রিলিজ হওয়ার সাথে সাথে শুনেছিলাম এর আগে তাহসান কে ছাড়া এই শিল্পিকে তেমন চিনতাম না তবে ওইদিনি তার গাওয়ার স্টাইলের প্রেমে পড়ে যাই আজ দুইবছরের বেশি সময় পড় এসে তাকে নিয়ে স্ট্যাডি করার পর বুঝতে পারলাম সে খুব জনপ্রিয় কয়েকটা গানের শিল্পি তারমধ্যে আজ কি রাত এবং পশ্চিম বাংলার কিছু গান যা এখনো শুনা হয়নি সে গান তারপর আমার পছন্দের গান Shayed (love aj kal) এর গানেও তার কাজ আছে সম্ভবতঃ খুবই প্রশংসনীয় শিল্পি মনে হয়। ❤

This is what India is famous for! No hatred, but they always withdraw credits from others and use things on their own. What was wrong with additional parts from Tahsan? You can see all the beloved Indian brothers and sisters are also arguing why that beautiful part was omitted? I guess, Coke Studio Bangla should not sell any rights in that way. If it needs to sell it then they must use all the same elements including the stage credit itself. You can see nowhere it was seen the logo of Coke Studio Bangla. India has a big population and community base, maybe a few months later you'll see this upload has more views than the original one then everybody would think this is the original one. Bangla culture has no boundaries say it Bangladesh or India. But my question is, if it really is like this then why did they have to take away the due credits from Coke Studio BANGLA itself, it even wasn't BANGLADESH?

But you might miss my point, a few months back, in the Jug Jug Jeeyo movie they used one Pakistani Panjabi song "The Punjaabban Dong" without giving the credits to the original artist, another famous song "Aahun Aahun" used in 2009 film Love Aaj Kaal which is a Pakistani qawali song "Kadi Haas" originally sung by Late Ustad Shaukat Ali, they didn't credited him. There's many more to count on that. Without giving the credit to Bangladeshi band Miles, they used the exact tune including the music itself of "Firiye Dao" as "Jaana Tera Pyar". 'Bheegi Bheegi" is a hugely famous song from Gangster movie that too is a wholly copied from a Bengali band song "Prithibita Naki Chhoto" originally created to Mohiner Ghoraguli, it's yet to get the official credit. There's many many may I can mention.. "Aadat" and "Woh Lamhe" is sung by original artist Atif Aslam, but there's still controversy as the song has the joint rights to Pakistani band Jal The Band. Owning others' credit is definitely a crime. It's not about the country, music has no boundary and no language. I do like Bollywood music. Everything is fine. Just what I said, just because Tahsan is from Bangladesh, they shouldn't withdraw that beautiful part.

Tagore composed infinite songs by getting inspired from so many sources, countries,etc... It's not copying.. it's getting inspired from something... Apart from this, India have no enemity with Bangladesh so this cannot be a reason for Tahsan's omission... I think they wanted to keep only the sd barman's song... But yes it's true that keeping Tahsan's part would have increased the beautification of the song ☺️

The melody of tahsan's part was very similar to "sofia" by clairo, i guess coke studio removed it due to the "copying" allegations.

Coke studio bangla has to pay a huge sum of money to Saregama to keep their own production in their channel. Because Saregama has the original Meera Deb barman's version's copyright. Saregama is showing the part of which they have copyright.

@@hakunamatata3935but why coke studio’s composition? 😂 This is not even theft, it’s robbery. Anyways, I say this serves the Bangladeshis right. After all, we have lots and lots of songs of our own and yet they decided to recreate a technically Indian song! I hope they won’t do this mistake in the future and focus on highlighting our own songs more. But again, if you have copyright where no one else can recreate your song shouldn’t you have some shame to take that recreation and propagate it as your own? Why don’t they bother to make a new composition from their own studio?
