It's amazing how Bhansali always matches rhythm of the song with visuals throughout the song... Best example is at around 1:22, when that man hits Shantanu on exact beat , and also Alia's little nod at around 2:36 - on exact beat - which is no coincidence, Bhansali deliberately wanted those to happen on that exact time. It's just crazy how Bhansali puts attention to even the tiniest detail! I'm a Sri Lankan fan of Bhansali sir since I was a child - I was mesmerized by attention to detail in Devdas, and to this day - Bhansali never failed to amaze me. Would love to learn filmmaking from this great personality - that would be a dream come true :)

Who can ever narrate a love story without dialogue and just expressions alone? I would say only a tasteful director like mr Sanjay Leela bansali and a method actress alia bhatt can do it.
