@@kishorithakkarjivrani2367 I've been to Ahmedabad for Garba, whilst I had fun I noticed that the steps and styles were more about grace and twirlings hands. Many of the dancers weren't clapping or bending, the chamkara/spins were also in singles rather than doubles or quadruples. I also notice that sequences were longer...like 24 step...52 step but in each step there was less energy. Do share videos of higher energy you mean, I'd love to see. As a garba teacher, i love learning about other styles, especially if they are full of true folk energy! ❤️

This dance is called garba. it is the traditional folk dance of the state of Gujarat in India. We gujaratis can play garba anywhere anytime, but we have a festival called 'Navratri' which is usually celebrated in September or October and then we play garba straight for 9 days to celebrate the win of good or evil. The 10th day is called 'Dussehra' that marks the return of Lord Rama after killing Ravana in Lanka.
