Yes, Karishma caught a lot of flack for this that she could never live down and was laughed at even by her peers and the family name was dragged.......I think this was when her dad, uncles and grand uncles knew she wasn’t gonna quit acting like they had hoped and more of this was gonna be required of her, so they decided to stop their sabotage of her career and allowed their film maker friends to finally give her better roles...........You would think that in a 5 generation old family of actors producers directors writers, etc, none of them even produced or directed a film for their first acting female, yet people have such resentment and grudge against her and punish her for it, not knowing she struggled more than any outsider...........Another eyebrow raising song she did is called S*xy S*xy Mujhe Log Bole. It’s a splendid cabaret number and her performance was great. You should react to it.
