For UE 5.5 Remove the hair first then do the face. Copy the hair from your metahuman bp and paste it in the character bp's mesh in the viewport, then move the hair to the face. (If you paste the hair in the body, you will crash so it must be pasted in the mesh before moving it to the face) If you paste the hair and it renames all the hair. Just copy the hair from the metahumans bp and paste it again in the characters bp If you are using the medium / low optimized metahuman. Then you will need to delete the LOD SYNC from the Character BP and copy the one from your Metahuman BP after doing the steps above

@@OfficialD3 Thanks mate for a helpful comment, yes I deleted the LOD SYNC and that helps, that I had not hairs, but I added again LOD SYNC and now works like expected

@@dimaferox5133 should only have to change the LODSYNC on medium optimized models. High should work fine without changing. Glad it helped you!

Hey brother I just wanted to reach out and let you know that currently the tutorial doesn't seem to work! Not an issue on your end but more from Unreal Engine itself. Whenever I try to replace the skeletal mesh for the face of the Keillan BP the Engine Crashes instantly. My computer specs are phenomenal so there is no issue with the PC but it truly is a bug with the system. Maybe you know some work around?

I just found a workaround! Create a new skeletal mesh object and then import your MHC character onto the new object, making sure to implement the animation blueprint of your desire. This will circumvent the crash that occurs through simple replacement. I sent a bug report to UnrealEngine so hopefully they fix this soon. Cheers brother!
