Sarkodie is the most influential rapper in the music industry has ever seen. He outperformed all the aforementioned and took Ghanaian music to the global stage, incorporating all essential elements of rap into his tracks. Dwonfoɔ no ebi nie. No wonder Sark said na mo yɛ dwon. Stuck in past and refusing to live in the present cos of some bromance and favourite shit. We give them their flowers and their respect for being old gees but none of them did any better rap than what we are currently seeing.

Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya and Obrafour really paid their dues as far as the foundations of Ghana rap is concerned but Ghana rap has transcended to the world because of one person and his name is Sarkodie. His longetivity and consistency alone is mind borsting. No ghanaian artist has ever been this consistently relevant than Sarkodie in the history of Ghana music not just the rap game.

hmmm! This topic is always debatable. Then no need to use that word GOAT. We need to have the elements or parameters like (Stage Performance, Records made, Impact/influence on the society or generations, Awards, Branding, Hit Songs, Relevance, International shows/appeal, Longevity, Rap skills, Digital platform numbers etc) for the GOAT outlined and mark every rapper/artist that falls within those elements. Then we can say this person deserve it or not. For me this similar to BEST RAPPER, where everbody crown themselves to be the best. I thank God i have lived under the reign of all these guys, obrafo) and kenya really paid their dues, Reggie started but won't make the first three,being there in the initial stages doesn't make them the best,sarkodie is just the GOAT in the hiplife industry but will be among the top 5 musicians gh has ever seen.

What hit songs? When it comes to awards it’s just bias. There’s no way Sarkodie should win that many awards. Lyrically he’s wack and when he tries to rap in English it’s so basic. The kids will always go for their generation - Sarkodie, which is normal. But for someone who has experienced both eras, I will pick 1. LORD KENYA!!!, 2. REGGIE ROCK STONE and 3. SARKODIE. Until now, there has been no rapper like 2PAC; to me, he is the GOAT! in the world. It is always debatable when it comes to these things. For example, in football, people always argue about Messi and CR7, though I have experienced both. My GOAT is Papa Amando Diego Maradona, Messi and Zidane, and maybe CR7.
