This video proves that Madhuri's expressions are their own art form. You can see the incredible dance moves of the assistant choreographers but their expressions are clearly lacking. Jaate jaate ek aur master piece de gayi saroj ji. No one can choreograph indian dance such beautifully then her. This rehersal version is far far better than the song in the film. Totally they spoilt the song in editing. Karan johar jo na kare kam hai aalia ko glorify karne ke liye. Kyuki ghar mohe pardesiya chahe kitna bhi acha bana ho , can not beat the best jodi of master and student i.e. Saroj ji and Madhuri ji respectively. OMG! I cannot believe how fabulous the choreography in this video looked absolutely fabulous in comparison to the final 'glossed up' lacklustre version. One can feel the Saroj Khan essence in this rehearsal version, which is absent in the final video. Especially the chakkars looked amazing in the end here which is what I went to see in the theatre and had to tolerate the movie. Many many thanks for uploading this gem of a video.

Karan Johar made the movie "kalank" only for Alia Bhatt ... And, when he said that it was his father's dream but he died; his father died long ago. Why did he make the movie now?? Alia compares herself with Deepika Padukone all the time. Deepika is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's favourite actress. Now, Alia wants to work with Bhansali. But Sanjay makes traditional Indian based movies. Karan wanted to show the traditional side of Alia Bhatt to the world, so that Sanjay Leela Bhansali starts casting Alia Bhatt in his films. And, we all know that Sanjay makes extraordinary masterpieces. Due to all these reasons, Karan edited Madhuri's dance number. Madhuri was made to stand and not dance in front of Alia Bhatt. Nobody in the world can resist Madhuri not dancing in a movie. But, Karan had to showcase Alia Bhatt; so he made Alia to dance and Madhuri to stand and watch. And, one song which had Madhuri dancing; he edited that also. This all is a conspiracy to promote and showcase Alia Bhatt. Now, when the whole world has come to know about this cheap game of Karan Johar, he will very soon come up with an explanation and justification in front of media that this is not the case. something is really wrong with Abhishek Varman and Karan Johar. This choreography is beautiful and it portrays the agony of Bahar Begum in totality. The edited song is pathetic. As directors and producers, they really do miss the aesthetic emotional appeal of the song...... that is just sad

Actually, when the song was released people where not impressed by the choreography and the song b'coz they didn't knew the idea behind it. But, after the release they loved it. I think Abhi did some last min re-editing & clearly messed up.

I think the costume wasn't appropriate for the Dance. The BIG ghagra actually hid all the dance moves. All these dancers are practicing in Salwar. It shows the movements clearly. Apart from the edit, the costuming kinda let the choreography down.
