This game has a lot of endings and branching paths, but I think there are two parts that Black Ops 3 chooses to make canon: The first is where Menendez is executed at the end, the second is where all Strike Force missions are completed and the US allies with China. Otherwise, it really doesn't have much to do with its predecessors.

Those of us who have just, an overly curious and judgmental mind are the ones games like this are geared toward. It throws hints in your face throughout, it gives you optional moments to learn additional information that you can act on later, but since it's a Shooter first and foremost, and most Shooter fans only care about putting holes in enemies all of this subterfuge and espionage and hidden details just flies right over their heads. I don't blame people for missing these things but as someone who naturally questions everything, it sure does get funny/frustrating to see.

It wasn't completely the worst ending I guess saru, I saved mason twice, sacrificed farid an harper two different playthroughs, done all the side-quests, saved all the prez, great ending and started a rebellion on the other so....who knew what you'd get. That had me heartbroken that saru didn't notice the small details like the camo pants or the music, and instantly shot mason, it was all so SUS, I noticed immediately first run but whatever, it is what it is, sigh.

Corrections to some of the misidentified vehicles: “The WW2 IFV” -that is an AML-90 from the 60s “T-62” That’s a Chinese tank, not a T-62. And looks more like a ZTZ88A/B it’s hard to tell cus of the model/graphics..etc..(or could be a type 59/69 or ZTZ59A because of the side skirts) Also that was an BTR, a BTR-60 infact, which is a APC and not an IFV. (also anti-tank stinger?? Ik it’s COD but bruh,lol) And that double barrel tank is more of a fantasy tank, but there was a prototype similar to it, which is most likely seems to be based off.

Shame we don't see this format in the future, maybe although i seriously doubt black ops 6 can revisit the black ops 2 storyline in someway. Although i would like another future black ops maybe 2040 or 2050 (25 years later). Oh well.
