This is my introduction to Mūza Rubackytė. What force, what authority! I doubt P's concerto could be better served.

A valuable rendering of a complex piece of music. At times it seems confused and lacking in unity. Technically very demanding for the orchestra and especially for the piano. The playing by Rubackyté is very decisive and incisive. Conduction by the bright Maximiano Valdés Soublette is impeccable as always, Penderecki died one week ago so this is a proper time to hear his work.

Concerto hallucinant de difficultés j'imagine..mais très intéressant...plein de sonorités...je n'avais jamais entendu.. bcp d'énergie et d'autorité de la part de la pianiste...

More than a splash of Prokofiev and Mussorgsky in this concerto. Hard to believe that this is the same composer who wrote the Dies Irae for Auschwitz

Miela Muza! Je desolee - can't continue in French - yet - your French although "jaw-dropping". As your appearance - on international level - but most important your choice to perform the music of Beethoven / Penderecky - the playing that has to be by definition as captivating. I by myself am a musician - a composer began my pacing in music in my native Vilnius the same school as you. That obviously the fact which touched my attention and sensitivity. I"ll be more than delighted to hear from you and to host you at my apartment in Natanya / Israel of course. Rita Monkovich

Uma Obra Maiúscula e interpretações magistrais. A Obra de Penderecki eh valorizada pela Orchestra Lithuanian National Philharmonic e a Vibrante e Vigorosa atuação da Pianista MŪZA Rubackytė. Um marco na música classica atual. Recomendo aos aficcionados! Mūza Rubackytė brilha igualmente no CD DRAMATIC RUSSIAN LEGACY / 2020 referente as OBRAS DE SHOSTAKOVICH & WEINBERG.!

I think Penderecki "dipped" into the Sergei Prokofiev/ Bernard Herrmann pool to create this wonderful concerto? He is definitely one of my favorite composers! RIP

Terrific performance by soloist and orchestra, but why were the audience so lukewarm at the end? Were they expecting Chopin?
@nealbaker79912 жыл бұрын
I agree. I was dumbfounded by the concerto by the orchestra and especially the pianist but I was mostly dumbfounded by pathetic response of the audience. Their hands hardly moved as they "clapped".
