Whatever is higher they will charge.. minimum must charge is USD 7 per month irrespective of amount in account. Note the cost would be more if you ac balance is high by 0.85%

As far as I know, IBKR does not have any management fees compared to Sarwa. When would you consider making a switch? I know that you mentioned in the video that once your portfolio reaches $50,000- 60,000 its better to use IBKR. But why not earlier? I would like to understand your thought process. Edit: particularly in Sarwa Invest*, I am only interested in buying ETFs in the long-term, not interesting in trading.

Hi, thanks for clarifying about SARWA invest. Yes - it charges 0.8% annual fee, but at the same time the transfer rates from UAE to IB is staggering 70 AED+ every time . So this is only good for someone investing bigger amount every time they transfer to IB whereas SARWA has no transfer charges if you are in the UAE. Moreover, upto 60K USD - you are not exposed to estate tax with SARWA, but this is not an issue with IB if you are investing in Irish dominated ETFs.

@@WaliKhanEnglish That's very true. The Swift fees can be expensive. But I've heard that people open an ENBD or HSBC Global Market account for free international transfers. In the past, you used to be able to transfer AED internationally to IBKR, but now you can only make transfers in USD, but the bank's exchange rate might be even more competitive than Sarwa. Thoughts about it? Edit: and yes I do plan on continue investing is Islamic ETFS such as ISDW (Irish dominated)
