The Trent 700 sounds like it’s noise higher in pitch than other engines, maybe it’s because the bypass ratio is lower than that of other high bypass engines. Heck I once thought that the Trent 700 was a low bypass engines and a turbojet before I found out it was a turbofan!

@@marcusianaviation9372 I didn’t say it was louder, all I said is that it makes a higher pitch sound. It might very well be quieter using a decibel meter.
