Tom Hamilton is a shy monster on that bass. Check what the video shows at 6:25 He carries the riff by himself. Fast and precise.
@AlanRaviAtchison2 ай бұрын
Totally agree with you that Tom's a beast on bass! But that riff you're hearing is Joe Perry, who plays the six-string bass on Back in the Saddle. Tom mirrors the notes during the verses, but Joe's tone carries the primary sound of the riff.

Brad Whitford killing it! And hey guess what...Whitford is playing a lot of the leads that people give Perry credit for.
@glendajustice41047 ай бұрын
How when they have two different guitars. Isn't there only one lead guitar. There's then a bass and a rhythm guitar. What??? Not picking on you but I'm interested in what you're rather saying. Can u explain that? If you're right then it could been times like once when some fool threw bomb on stage and hurt Joe's hand and arm really bad for awhile. Oh I know Joe Perry can play his lead guitar . Plays hell out of it. This is the all time best Rock group ever and every member rocking their parts. Joe and Steven so intelligent. If not for those two it wouldn't be as likeable. Joe got all the horsepower behind the band , sharp and plays best I've seen and Steven best vocals on Earth. Yes yes yes... Wow!!
@chuckfriebe8437 ай бұрын
@@glendajustice4104 Whitford and Perry have always traded off on lead. Perry used to be the one that everyone assumed was playing most of the leads in their most famous catalog. However, Whitford plays a lot more lead guitar than people really give him credit for.

Missing from this recording are (3) songs. Two of them are Dream On and Chip Away The Stone. They're missing because they did these songs on the "second stage" that was set up on the lawn section. I was at this show so that's how I know. Kid Rock and Run DMC were special guests.

Apparently, after the concert they realized that the part on the second stage didn't have audio at all.

@@brithaddenhadden8383 All a matter of taste, which is totally subjective. I also think Tyler is probably the best front man; it's close between him and David Lee Roth when he was with VH. For me, they are both much more entertaining to watch than Robert Plant, who is widely considered to be the best...I'm talking about pure showmanship - NOT technical singing ability.
