I had just gone to see the exhibit on the Kapaemahu (the Mahu stones in Waikiki) at Bishop Museum a couple months before drag race season 14 started so when I saw her it felt like she had walked out of some Hawaiian legend to me it was so amazing and to then see her win really filled me with so much love and pride.
