I really hope Marlene King would reveal who the Professor is and the other unanswered questions the show has, then the fans can create fan fictions so we can create our own endings to the show. I was really hoping that if season 2 happened, the original PLL cast would show up and visit Alison and Mona and meet the new liars/perfectionists. I would like some closure to the Mary and Alex thing. I hope in a few years a PLL movie would happen so we can say goodbye.

I'd only want a PLL movie if it wasn't more endless weddings and births, or a brand new mystery without a satisfying conclusion . Mona and Alison were some of my favorite characters in the early years, but I couldn't get through more than a couple of episodes on Perfectionists. Looks like I made the right choice. It feels like Marlene got lazy and/or just caved to fan service and stopped caring about the writing, maybe it's time for some new blood.....

As a PLL fan I couldn't get into The Perfectionist. I half watched the first episode and they mentioned someone called the Professor and I was like oh no this is A all over again but I believed the Professor wouldn't be a better villian than A so that made me not want to continue the show then when I heard Emison divorced and they were gonna have Allison fall for a man I really didn't want to continue the Perfectionists anymore. Emison was one of the biggest ships in PLL history and they went through a lot to be together and to end the show with the married with kids only to be divorced when a new series comes around was a shot the heart because they were the first LGBT couple I shipped. Hearing they are together again makes my heart full. Just wish I could see them on my TV screen again😍

I thought Sasha and Janel were stunning and amazing on the show but I didn’t resonate with the other characters at all, and the plot line was just a dried up copy of PLL. The only things I loved was how Alison was coming to terms with the fact that she was still wearing a mask, Ally completely changed herself in order to be a “good” person at the end of PLL. In the Perfectionists, she realised that the change was so large, that it wasn’t her anymore, I loved that, we got to see a hint of the old Alison. I also loved Janel’s funny phrases, and also - now don’t kill me for saying this, but I also liked the break up of Emily and Ally. Obviously I wanted them together in the end (or a great story including Shay and a newfound wife), but Alison played Emily around a lot, and Emily was very sure of her sexuality, while Alison was a little more confused, besides that, it was all so quick with the babies being there, and with Ally not being herself, she was practically living a lie, and so Emily and Ally’s relationship was kind of plastic. What I think would have happened next, was Ally showing Emily who she really is, and if Emily would accept that, they could be together. She was trying too hard to be like Emily by the end of PLL, now she wanted to be her better self.

I personally liked the perfectionists first season more than the original pll's first season, I'm really sad that it got canceled because I was really excited about it. It had a great storyline, a new and unique story that is different than the original pll.

It didn't make sense in the spin-off cos Emily wanted a divorce since they weren't working out and Alison signed the papers in one of the episodes now they're saying in the interview that they're happy and raising the babies 😩

Shay didn’t want to do the spinoff so MK wrote in the divorce to explain her long absence in Alison’s life- after it was cancelled MK confirmed Emison was always going to end up together so that’s why sasha said this.
