I would LOVE your feedback and what content you'd like from me, if any :)
I’m going to share some details about the drama I’ve had in my life, explain where I’m at now, and see if that’s okay with all of you. For a few years, I wasn’t sure how to talk about it, so I stayed silent. I didn’t want to offend or blame anyone, and I wasn’t sure if I could discuss really personal things here. But yesterday, I thought, ‘Okay, it’s time to open up and move forward.’
I made this video and explanation more for myself, as I needed to put it out there and finally find closure for everything that happened years ago. I just didn’t know how to do it before.
To be honest, I was scared and felt embarrassed, carrying all those feelings with me. But now, I’m able to speak again and I’m no longer ashamed. It’s just life, and I’m ready to move forward.
Love you all, and thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to express myself.

My favorite videos were always the house and car tours, or magazine flips or grocery hauls. Zero need to put yourself in a position that makes you uncomfortable. So glad you're back in any capacity. The world sucks sometimes but your videos are definitely a bright spot for many of us.

Wow Sasha. I am genuinely overjoyed to see you pop back up on youtube. Your kind voice has seen me through some incredibly tough times in the past 6 years. And I thank you sincerely - from the bottom of my heart. In Australia, we have something called 'tall poppy syndrome'. Basically, it's a desire to cut down people that succeed, or they are envious of, and it's an ugly - and all too-common trait. I think that a lot of the victimisation of people in the online sphere stems from that. I can 100% understand wanting to keep your face off videos - as this is just fuel for stalkers, harassers and 'haters'. And please don't blame yourself for any of the events that happened. It's not your fault for wishing to connect with people when times are tough for you. Human beings are social creatures - and it is thus *very* natural to seek out others for support. Don't beat yourself up for being too open or trusting. I too have the same trait, and although it has burned me a couple of times in a big way, I'm also glad that I am like that. If you're open to suggestions, I propose that a creative way to continue, yet keep production as a hobby - whilst ALSO protecting your privacy is by reposting your old clips every couple of weeks - minus the video!.. Just a black screen or nice, calming picture of your choosing. I can't speak for any other ASMR fans, but if others are like me, I practically always start a black/low glare screensaver on my laptop or phone, and go to sleep with a curated playlist of clips on infinite repeat at low volume. I really have no need to 'watch' anything related to ASMR content; thus, silent 'hand movement' videos etc do nothing for me. A good voice is better than ANY sleeping tablet for me 😊. I would have no doubt that I was solely responsible for at least 5000+ views (and likely many more!) of a whole handful your clips, because of this manner of queuing playlists - and then sleeping My absolute first time go-to for sleep amongst your content was the adorable & well produced 'fixing you alien'(??) video that you did many, many moons ago. As an aside - is your email address still active? Thank you for what you do - and I'm glad that you shared this.

If you're unsure about making videos without showing your face, hopefully it'll comfort you to hear that some of my favorite creators are still doing that all the time. Some good examples: Tarot Reader ASMR, Mauve ASMR, ASMRtica, The French Whisperer. I'm sure there are tons more. A lot of us use ASMR to sleep and are closing our eyes a few minutes in, anyway. I love listening to videos where people just talk about their lives, or go through collections of things that they're excited about. Your voice & vibe are perfect for the ASMR and there's no outdated format! Do what's comfortable and your fans will be happy to listen or watch. Good to have you back :)

I remember the first time I ever found one of your videos, it was before you even started an ASMR channel, it was a henna hair dying tutorial that you did and what got me hooked was the voice over part you did like halfway through the video…omg I remember how my brain melted when I heard you speaking in a soft spoken manner in the voice over I hoped that you would start an ASMR channel on that day and you didn’t disappoint! You are amazingly talented, you have a natural voice perfect for ASMR .Your time and effort is a gift to us and we greatly appreciate you! I’m so sorry you had to deal with so much BS from those haters, please remember you never have to feel obligated to push your boundaries or over exert yourself. Your true fans will always be here for you💖

For what it's worth, what I believe makes your ASMR so good is the way you speak. You don't need to make flashy videos to give people what they need. For me, I would be happy if all you did was just chatted about life, like a friend catching up over a cup of tea :)

Sasha! You're back! I missed you. But you always have to take care of you first, and youtube should be a creative outlet and joy for you first if it's something you want to do. I'm so sorry for everything you have gone through. The people who take the time to watch you and harass you, add to your views and help the algorithm in the long run. I get the people at work thinking you're weird concern. I used to go to comic cons after my divorce just as a creative outlet with friends. People used to make fun of that at work without knowing I did it. And I had to rent from my parents for a while, and people would make comments about people they knew living in their parent's basement. Fortunately, when people go to know me and then find out all those things were true about me also, it changed their perspective some. I hope that it will change the perspective of some people you know for you in the long run. But at the end of the day, you being happy with your life is what matters. If you have done your best to live your best life and be a good person, then it's their problem and they're clearly unhappy with themselves. I understand the changes you may need to make if you continue youtube. But there's so many things you can do with voice only, or just the objects. Have you ever seen Amuse ASMR? She never ever shows her face. Not sure if seeing some of the things she does might give you some inspiration. But some of her stuff is even as simple as reading through a magazine and having minimal or maybe no editing. But if you don't want to do video at all, you could get so creative with the voice only. Using lots of descriptive words and such, people's minds will fill in the imagery to match. I did really love the house tour videos though!

Sasha, it's so nice to hear from you again! I'm surprised to hear that your channel wasn't that big back in the day-- you were always one of my favorite ASMRtists. I'm so sorry you went through so much abuse over posting videos of yourself. That's not right. If you want to post more videos, I think it's important that you create videos _you_ want to create. Your health and feeling of safety is more important than anything. Besides, if you're not enjoying it, then you won't post much anyway. A lot of creators get burned out from pursuing content that others want but the artist isn't motivated by. Personally, I find that visuals are an important part of ASMR videos. Showing just half of your face has worked really well for some popular ASMRtists; ASMR PPomo is one example that comes quickly to mind. Looking forward to more from you, if you decide to post more.

Always one of my favorite KZbin ASMR channels, I'm glad to know you're okay. I'd love to see you become more active again, especially in the "old style" w/ face, half-face, etc., but I do understand if that makes things more difficult in your personal life. Although I mostly play ASMR videos as I am falling asleep, yours were some of the videos I would actively watch. Either way, your whisper-voice is, for me, such a perfect one 🙏🏼😊 Godspeed.

I typically play the videos in the background while I do other things- so I'm just listening anyway. For me, the gentle speaking voice is the most important, generally the only necessary trigger. I always feel so bad because people put such effort into their visuals for me not to even view them. I say, talk to your recorder about, just anything, for ten minutes a day and put that up, and I'd listen to it every/any day. I'm sorry to hear about your awful experience. I think people feel doubly entitled to be cruel to beautiful women because they assume since you're attractive your life must be easier, they're not self aware enough to recognize their insecurity. Anyway, they are garbage. Don't forget though, you are filled with bright, joyful light. And even though there's trash, there is still also other light. Sorry to ramble. Be well, dear Sasha

Thank you for sharing. Glad you have forgiven those people except the one that shared your YT channel. Some people suck. I will miss your calming aura on camera but happy I still get to hear the most placid voice. 10:37 I would be interested in hearing what you have learned about attracting certain types of people, boundaries and personal growth in general.

Welcome back, Sasha 🤗 I remember a lot of that which was going on in your life. It was definitely getting scary and out of control and I'm so glad you got away from it. Life is not for living in the past though and it's great to see you moving forward. Take it all at your own pace. It's all gravy from here 😀👍 As for what I want to see... this may come as a huge surprise but how about some... face brushing, lol 😁 And with Halloween coming soon you can always wear masks to cover a little of your face if you feel like showing your entire head 😀 You're sounding well and happy. I'm happy you're back, Sasha 🤗❤

Wow, long time no see Sasha. Glad to hear your happy now and would love to see you doing ASMR once again, just do what you like. I am not a fan of roleplays and I guess without the visual element it might not work for some but just straight up talking like this video would be good enough for most. xx

Id love to see some new videos from you. Lots of creators make lovely lo-fi videos just showing things on a table with their hands and explaining what they are etc. They are some of my favourite types. 😊

So happy to hear you again 😊 I hope those idiot bullies will not bother you anymore, we miss you and you miss KZbin and that's all that matters. If someone has issue with it, we'll, doesn't have to watch it. I was so sad when you deleted videos with face since Facts about Christmas and Fashion haul try on were my fav videos, but I understand. People are idiots and they don't know what are they doing how painful it can be for others. I hope you will come back this time, even without full face videos, just voice-over. I love magazine flip through videos, plus you don't have to show your face, so that's cool. Also some voiced over facts with sounds or something like that. Your voice itself is so calming, I wouldn't need any other sound :)

Don’t let the haters ruin your beautiful hobby. We’ve all been where you were at one time or another in our lives so I’m sure we can relate to what you went through. You have a community of ASMR people here that love you and truly missed you focus on us and don’t pay attention to these lousy people that try to ruin your happiness. It all boils down to jealousy in the end anyway ignore the negative comments focus on the positive ones and please come back to ASMR we missed you. And you can talk about anything or you can show how to make your chocolate covered strawberries again or whatever makes you happy. And you don’t have to show your face if you don’t want to that’s the beauty of ASMR. I love you and we’re rooting for you. You go girl
