Sasquatch fur sculpting in Zbrush
Having fun sculpting the fur on my Marvel Sasquatch fan art. Always liked this character created by John Byrne for Alpha Flight. This is a work in progress and in this video I'm showing the step 2 of my 4 steps for sculpting fur. Step 1 rough shapes, step 2 defining the clump shapes, step 3 pushing the fur silhouette, step 4 refining everything.

I'm waiting for your glory, i'm at my first year in 3D actually and i try to do Samus and Gipsy Danger (very good head) but i don't know if i can be good on sculpte

Beautiful work (as always)! Is it just me or is your cursor in ZBrush offset to the side?

thanks! For the fur I use Clay Tubes for the first rough pass, then the one I use in the video is the Slash 2 brush with Lazy mouth on, and I also use Dam standard here and there

it's already insid eZbrush. In Spotlight, Brush and then slash 2 or 3 (don't remember which one I tweaked) and then I just added some lazy mouse

Also, is this the Basic Material with the spec modified or something? I like how the form reads on it.

yes it's a basic material but with the spec tweaked a bit

6:35 is that a Slash 3 you're using? Thanks. (I feel like I'm one of the only people use it, but I like it more than Dam Standard often because it doesn't have the pinching lol)

It's the slash 3 with a bit of lazy mouse on it

@@sajans3998 it pushes in on one side and it pushes out on the other. Give it a try it's a very cool brush
