Awesome vid : ) Id like to plant as much as I can now. Tired of systems that think it's ok to try to put handcuffs on Nature for their own agenda guised as for our own safety instead of allowing informed choice of many medicines/foods that ancestors once used well. Loved this video & hope you find a good root beer. I had a 93 yr old senior I cared for that used to tell me how her family once brewed it when she was a kid. I drink Virgil's but will look for Abita to try here in MI

Ive done some logging in my life and ive wondered about the numbers of different tree species since they focus on just hardwood and softwood like oak and pine cause when they use a chipper , i was cutting everything that wasnt straight wood for boards. But i love me some rootbeer and sassafras.

The diseases for many of them came from Asia. You do not know what they are up to these days. What they are "making" over there. Importing ag products from them may not be a good idea any more. I had gotten a "good luck" plant and it had something on it rust color grew in a ring like a fungus on the stems. This was a fad for a time and during that time the live oaks got live oak death. Still do. CA I had sunglasses on one day and I looked at my Norfolk Island Pine tree and it had like a rusty coating like dust all over and I crushed some rosemary and spinkled it on top of the plant, then came home and made a tea to sprinkle it with and let fall on the soil on the leaf ring. It seemed to do better.

How big are the seeds? It is hard to tell. Are they like acorn size?
