I love the sequence between Sassy and the Mermaid. They have that calm and sweet authentic kinda chemistry with each other that you experience every once in a while in life with people. Even when its brief with those people you meet who you just click with, it sticks so unforgettably. You meet a pretty girl and she’s chill and has great interesting vibes, and before long you’ve had a great experience with them or tried something new like taking a couple hits off a puffer fish. By the time you part ways with people like that you respect their natural path and its easy to just let them keep continuing their little journey through life, and it feels okay to say goodbye, even without even catching their name.

The last thing this show needs is a publisher. As long as this remains independently owned by Jarrad it is under his complete creative licence. Netflix, Adultswim, Amazon, doesn't matter who it is, all they do is take peoples babies away and butcher them, and anything 'original' by them is fucken lukewarm at best. I'm happy to wait weeks/months at a time for quality content rather than something that is the equivalent of mass produced, rushed out the door simply to rake in money. No creativity, no soul, no artistic merit, nothing.
