Thank you so much. You solved my mystery about the stretch cord, and gave an excellent technique for securing the cord at the end. Your designs are beautiful!!

Thank you very much for the tutorial! I have made many stretch bracelets bur have never thought to use it to make barefoot sandals. For the elastic, I would recommend using Stretch Magic, as it is ultra-violet and chlorine resistant.

deb Thank you, Deb! I went out and bought Stretch Magic due to your advice...I had no idea about elastic being damaged by uv rays n chlorine!

Have you ever made the ring bracelet? In the late 60's early 70's they were called Slave Bracelets now some call them Pompeii or Ring Bracelets. I love all your Barefoot Sandals so I would like to ask you if you would do a tutorial on one. Thank you for sharing.

The concept is the same. Just make the ankle part your bracelet. Then make the middle section long enough to reach comfortably from wrist to finger. Then make the toe part large enough to fit your finger. :)

I have a Canon Power Shot S5 IS (8.0 mega pixels). For my tripod I use a cheap little gorillapod that lets me bend and move it in any way.

I am watching this on MUTE at work! bad bad... i know. What size thread did you use? 7mm? I read online reviews that the 5 was just too thin and 7 was good and 10 was too thick.. you probably said during your tutorial.. that I can't turn up! lol

so you use what strength elastic for size 10 bead?
@Sassytard14310 жыл бұрын
I just used regular clear colored elastic cord. It was in the craft section of Michaels/Joanns. Take a couple beads with you to compare with the elastic if you need to.

+Sassytard143 do you remember what size elastic string?
@Sassytard1438 жыл бұрын
+tahseenthedream No I don't remember the size. I do remember that the store only offered the 1 option. Now stores have more selection.
