Boruto is ok but what should have been done was a prequel of Naruto. From the 1st to the 3rd ninja war. There was so many do not engage Shinobi. Would have been nice to see some of the battles. 2nd hokage vs cloud ninja and how he died. How did the leaf still maintain their village after the Tobirama died? Minato vs whoever. 3rd Raikage vs 10000 shinobi. 3rd Mizukage vs 2nd tsuchikage for which they kill each other. More of Shisui and the white fang, Sasuke saratobi. Might guy father vs 7 swordsmen. Dude these can be epic battles in anime.

A clone at the office to do mundane paper work should be fine. naruto is the only ninja who can be everywhere at once with his 1000+ clones, he can study every topic there is and can become very knowledgeable and perhaps the most intelligent and well informed hokage. But nope. Also, more than 15 years passed and naruto didn't bother to learn one of the most useful jutsu's (the flying thunder god technique). He should know that technique could be used to save the village, his family/friends and himself multiple times.

That's the point. They live in a post, "great-war" era where most of the threats are vanquished. They have the comforts of modern technology, fast-food, and they lack grit due to a cozy upbringing. Naruto was an orphan, an outcast. Sasuke had his entire clan slaughtered in front of him by his own cherished brother. Compared to Boruto, & Sarada both having their parents (even if 1 is absent most of the time), and being the children of renown Shinobis. Basically, Gods. You're supposed to dislike Boruto in the start. It makes the recent revelations in the manga that much more intense. Unlike typical mangas, where the protagonist has to work up from zero - Boruto flips it on the head. He already has everything, and then he loses everything.
