Sasuke has been a defender of the shinobi world and konoha for a decade and without him it would have been completely destroyed at least three times. The half meteor coming down to destroy konoha. Momoshiki's attack at the chuinin exam, without Sasuke, Naruto would have just got his chakra drained and probably died then the world would have been done, and the entire ishiki situation. Sasuke was a key player in taking him down. I think he redeemed himself plenty after the war.

I think this is a stretch. The ten-tails itself has the rinnegan. The claw grimes are made by pinching off parts of the ten-tails via Code's claw-marking ability. It would make sense that there are some claw grimes containing the eye pieces of the original ten-tails.

This would be a very insulting end to Sasuke and would make a lot of fans angry. I think it's more likely that more claw grimes will awaken Rinnegan on their own and that it's due to yet another method of awakening one exclusive to the ten tails. Perhaps ten tails chakra + human chakra (i.e., Code's chakra that he used to form the claw grimes) is what's needed for a Rinnegan in this case. The original superior claw grime we saw is probably blown in half from Kawaki's explosion, but there will be more like it.

Here is a theory, what if the threat of the ten tails that Boruto was talking about wasn't about what happened in the fourth great shinobi war but was instead about the ten tails evolving to have their own personality. Given the fact that the Rinnegan eye appears on the claw mark on the claw grime, it is possible that due to Code's altering of the ten tails it has begun to obtain free will. I suspect that more of these Claw Grimes will begin to talk and fight independently and Code will no longer be able to control them, hence why Boruto was so adamant that Code brings him to the main body before it's too late.

Yes, the method that Nagato and Obito used reflect the wielder's eyes onto the corpses they controlled, despite them not actual having that eye. This method and the fact that the tentails has a RinneSharingan are ACTUALLY the most likely reasons that clawgrime has a rinnegan. Why everyone only expands on the idea of Sasuke being a zombie now is a mystery to me.

We already know that somehow in this planet there was not only stronger Otsutsuki than Kagya but also the body of strongest Otsutsuki in history during the events of Naruto. We know that one human scientist, in relatively short amount of time learnt how to at least implant and extract Otsutsuki abilities, maybe to even manipulate and reverse engineer them to some extent. We know that he learnt to create clones and androids stronger than Otsutsukis. I think we're kidding ourselves if we keep acting that Rinnegan is still something completely exceptional when we have artificial human with literal Omnipotence. So if Kishimoto wants to introduce new big player with access to Rinnegan imo it won't be any more outlandish than anything that's happened so far in Boruto. To me this teasing about the Otsutsuki god and true nature of ten tails also hints that the story's soon gonna re-contextualize both and that includes dojutsu derived from Otsutsukis. There's also always the possibility of new Otsutsuki entering to the story during timeskip. After all, this is the planet that hosts body of their strongest member and has now taken lives of 4 or 5 of their members. That's definitely more than enough reason for them to become curious about what's going on and also for next one of them to try to different approach since clearly raw power isn't enough to conquer this planet anymore. Code would also love nothing more than have a chance to work under them so to me Otsutsuki using him as a pawn seems like one of the more logical developments for the story, especially since Boruto and presumably Kawaki are now stronger than Code.

Sasuke is not the clawgrime. It’s not a coincidence that code has his left eye closed and the clawgrime has his left eye open. Code might have a rinnegan and is using his closed eye to see through the clawgrimes POV similar to gaara using the technique to hold 2 fingers over one of his eyes and is able to use a sand eye for recon or similar to the pain’s technique to use there eyes to see through each of the pains POV. I do not think for one second that sasuke is at all the clawgrime.

The only problem I have with this theory is if Clawgrime=Sasuke, then one would expect it to have sharingan as well. And if the answer to that is that code took the sharingan for himself, then I ask why take sharingan over rinnegan? I think it is interesting that the claw grime's Rinnegan mirrors Sasuke's, but it's similar to killing off Sasuke during the timeskip. It would just be smarter to show it actually happen. Have him lose a cool battle, imply Code is doing something to him and THEN reveal the claw grime with a Rinnegan in a later chapter. And even then this setup would be best suited for a fakeout.

A thought of how Sarada's story could play out since Nick mentioned it. It would be cool to see Sarada wanting to chase after Code for 'killing' Sasuke (regardless of if he died or got absorbed by Clawgrime). It would be a way to give her a purpose in the plot, even if it is just the b-plot, as the people who were around to hear all of the 'Uchiha curse of hatred' stuff in Shippuden would be scared to see the last Uchiha fall victim to reopening that curse, becoming a woman vs self conflict for Sarada about her philosophy about revenge. The result of that inner-conflict could pull some plot no jutsu to give her (#-tomoe) rinnegan when she ultimately conquers the hatred, letting her follow down the same path as her idol Naruto, who also conquered revenge around a rinnegan, which could make her ~mainplot level for the final fight. It would also keep Kakashi relevant to the plot as he could try to right his mistake with Sasuke by being there for Sarada, and ngl I'm starving for Boruto-era Kakashi content. Dang, he covered this at the end. Ig what's why he's making the videos lol.

My biggest question would be when? When did Sasuke get turned to a claw grime. The time skip is 3 years and 2 years ago is when code saw boruto last so If Sasuke was training boruto the whole time then he hasn't seen him either. But if he did kill him or turn him into a grime when he found them then did boruto get all the training he needed from Sasuke in a yea. Then why would he have to run from code ? This Juubi clearly has it's own personality which should give the clones their own personality, it was stated awhile ago that this Juubi is different from the war arc one, I'm surprised people are still comparing them. Also your other theory about "why wouldn't they just snatch a rinnegan out of a dead claw grime, that's a free power up" yes and no. Truth be told, Sasuke has already been redeemed for his actions, in fact the real question is, what is Sasuke's reparations for all that he's been through by the Leaf Village? Sure Danzo died, but that's not enough for the extinction of an entire clan and to make it worse, the truth of the massacre was kept secret. Not saying Sasuke wanting to destroy the Leaf Village and his actions during the 4th Shinobi World War is right, but I get it. His attack during the 5 Kage Summit was him having an emotional breakdown for the death of his clan and now his brother who actually loved him. Sure Sasuke could have just attacked Danzo outside of the Kage Summit, but again he was having a mental breakdown with Obito manipulating a riled up Sasuke to attack the Summit to get to Danzo, but skipping on to the Boruto Era, Sasuke has protected the village on several occasions, he's done with his redemption journey. I just want to point out that if we are talking g about obtaining blood to make a Rinnegan, and that all it takes is any blood to create it-provided it comes from Sasuke and Naruto- we need to look no further than the Valley of the End. Since the clawgrime, has the claw mark on his .. head, and in a way that is covering most of it... and Code and also the clawgrimes can manipulate the teleportation via the claw marks... Isn't it possible, that Sasuke is indeed alive, and his left eye healed (by medical ninjutsu or 10 tails chakra), but also being manipulated and not turned into clawgrime .. but instead have a claw mark on his head covering the left eye, but most probably the right one too ? This way Code or the clawgrimes can use Saske's rinnegan via the claw marks (as we already saw it can teleport only parts of the body) or even his manipulated self to be more powerful ? This was a theory of mine, but i don't know how good it might be. After some more thinking it makes even more sense, since Code himself can use it.. as he doesn't have right eye. And something more, this will be very tragic for Sasuke, if he is seeing every fight against his daughter.

I think the relevance of the Grime's rinnegan definitely will have something to do with driving the plot forward - and not so much just a concerning powerup. We've seen rinnegan so many times at this point, and they're always trying to overpower and outdo the previous standard for "strongest powerup". Was MS, then rinnegan was revealed and everything was mindblown, not expecting there to be anything stronger than an MS/EMS. It would be too redundant for this rinnegan to be just a powerup that we've seen multiple times in the franchise at this point. I won't make any decisive assumptions but its relevance wont be that its an OP dojutsu, but it will definitely be plot related

I think code has a rinnegan in his left eye and using the claw marks can transfer it amongst ten tails soldiers. the ten tail soldier didnt have the rinnegan all through it suddenly appeared around when kawaki showed up. its possible codes clawmark just made a rinnegan pop out of it just so he can view kawakis moves as he probably sees kawaki as a back up plan b option for if boruto didnt show up at konoha. cause he had no reason to be sure he was going to see boruto. as to how code got the rinnegan i think the ten tails has a rinnegan. its possible his modification could make the 10 tail spawn an eye similar to how it spawns body for clones.
